Fox News Is Attempting To STOP Tucker Carlson’s Twitter Show

Fox News has waged a war against Tucker Carlson.

A new report has revealed, Fox News has sent Tucker Carlson a cease-and-desist letter claiming Tucker’s news show on Twitter is a breach of his contract with Fox News.

As of right now, Tucker is locked into a contract with Fox News that doesn’t expire until December of 2024.

An attorney representing Tucker Carlson responded to the recent cease-and-desist letter and stated “Tucker will not be silenced by anyone.”

Fox News has sent Tucker Carlson a cease-and-desist letter, alleging that his new Twitter show is a breach of his contract with the network, Axios first reported. Carlson is still being paid through the end of his agreement with Fox News, which is set to expire on December 31, 2024, with Axios reporting that Carlson is making a First Amendment argument for his right to host the new program.

“Tucker will not be silenced by anyone,” Harmeet Dhillon, a lawyer who represents Carlson, said in a statement to Axios. “He is a singularly important voice on matters of public interest in our country, and will remain so.”

Shortly after Fox News announced they were parting ways with Carlson — just days after the network was ordered to pay $787.5 million to Dominion Voting Systems after airing unfounded accusations about the 2020 presidential election — Carlson announced that he would be bringing his show to Twitter. The first two episodes of what is now called “Tucker on Twitter” have amassed a combined total of nearly 170 million views.

Fox News sent a cease-and-desist letter Monday to former host Tucker Carlson for allegedly breaking his contract with the cable TV news network by launching his own show on Twitter.

Carlson’s attorneys were informed last week that he breached his contract by launching his own show on Twitter, and the latest legal letter was confirmed on Twitter by Harmeet Dhillon, an attorney representing the commentator.

“My friend and client @TuckerCarlson will not be silenced — by the far left or by Fox News,” Dhillon tweeted with a link to an Axios story about Fox’s letter to Carlson.

Dhillon also said she will not appear on Fox until the network “stops trying to silence Tucker.”

Carlson’s new show, “Tucker on Twitter,” surpassed more than 100 million views within less than two days since its launch.
