Following his ouster from CNN, the cable news anchor and personality was understandably upset—though publicly his firing from the cable news giant was not reported this way.

Now, Don Lemon has found himself thrust into the limelight once more—even if it is just for one night, and it pales in comparison to his last job. …

According to a recent article from Page Six of the New York Post, Don Lemon will be hosting the 7th annual Native Son Awards—an award show for gay men:

Page Six reports:

“For this year’s awards, we really wanted to shine a light on those who are using their platforms to bring visibility to all the beautiful ways in which Black, queer men show up in the world,” Wilbekin said in a statement.

Lemon was one of the first to be honored by the awards.

Micheal Dollar clamored for the return of Don Lemon and mentioned that CNN CEO Chris Licht’s recent ouster from the network might be a potential avenue that brings Don Lemon back to CNN.
