Stunning but certainly not surprising. …
Many of those reading this know and understand that our ‘representatives’ don’t read through bills—how could they when bills are 5,000 pages long?
Lindsey Graham was embarrassed on-air by Fox News’ Jesse Watters when he told Watters that he was ‘unaware’ of a bill that he, himself, sponsored.

McCarthy recently appeared on Fox News to tell Americans that he hasn’t seen or read 89% of the budget—that’s right folks, he is only familiar with 11% of it. …

The Hill explained the GOP position against McCarthy by sharing this statement from Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL):
“If a majority of Republicans are against a piece of legislation and you use Democrats to pass it, that would immediately be a black letter violation of the deal we had with McCarthy to allow his ascent to the Speakership, and it would likely trigger an immediate motion to vacate,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said on Newsmax on Tuesday, referring to a move to oust McCarthy from the Speakership.
