President Trump Exposes DeSantis In Latest Statement

And here I was thinking I liked Ron DeSantis. …

All levity aside, I do like DeSantis—many of his positions were actually in America’s best interests, but, as you are about to see, many were equally as bad for residents of Florida.

That being said, I just don’t think he’s the right man for the job, or, at least not yet. …

It’s no secret that President Trump made Ron DeSantis, according to the 45th President of the United States, DeSantis was losing badly, shortly before the election, but everything changed after he received a Trump endorsement.

Unfortunately, that alliance has now shifted to an adversarial relationship—whatever happened to good old-fashioned loyalty?

By all accounts, President Trump raised DeSantis to prominence, why is he attempting to campaign against him now?

The 45th President of the United States issued his latest statement critiquing and rebuking DeSantis’ performance in office:

How are the two currently faring against one another? CNN reports:

While Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis held a meet-and-greet on Capitol Hill Tuesday evening, former President Donald Trump and his team aimed to be one step ahead – planning a dinner at his Mar-a-Lago resort with members of the Florida congressional delegation just two days after the DeSantis reception.

The intense battle for Sunshine State endorsements kicked into overdrive this week: in the 24 hours ahead of DeSantis’s visit to Washington, three Florida Republicans – Reps. Greg Steube, John Rutherford and Brian Mast – officially announced their support for Trump, while DeSantis locked down his first Florida endorsement, his third overall, from Rep. Laurel Lee.

“We want to be able to show that even members in DeSantis’ own state, who know and work with him, don’t support him for president,” a source close to the Trump campaign told CNN.

According to Reuters, DeSantis has also gone on the offensive:

Never Back Down, the Super PAC backing DeSantis, released the ad titled “Fight Democrats, not Republicans” online and on “Fox News Sunday.”

The ad begins with a reference to Trump’s legal troubles in New York.

“Donald Trump has been attacked by a Democrat prosecutor in New York. So why is he spending millions attacking the Republican governor of Florida?”
