AOC Says She Will Draft Impeachment Article Against Justice Thomas Under One Condition

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., renewed her calls for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to be impeached after a report detailed the justice’s close relationship with a billionaire Republican donor — going so far as to say she will introduce articles of impeachment herself.

In comments made on the “Lever Time” podcast Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez said Thomas’ position on the court is an “emergency” and a “crisis,” and reiterated her full support for removing him.

When asked if she would introduce the articles of impeachment herself, the New York lawmaker said she would step up if no one else does.

“Congress is out of session for the next week. And so that does give Democrats some time to strategize, and the way I feel about it is that, I do think articles need to be introduced,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

“If we decide strategically that the actual author of those articles and who introduces them may not be me, that’s fine, I will support impeachment. But I just think that if no one’s going to introduce it, I would certainly be open to doing so and drafting them myself,” she continued, adding, “I think this has gone far, far beyond any sort of acceptable standard in any democracy, let alone an American democracy.”

Democrats have expressed outrage at Thomas because of his wife’s conservative political activities and, most recently, a report that claimed the justice has received lavish gifts from a GOP mega-donor and never disclosed them.

No matter what you think of her, it’s clear that AOC has a strong following among the radical Left.

Now that she’s floated the idea of impeaching Justice Thomas, don’t be surprised if more Democrats begin echoing her calls.

So AOC is threatening to draft an impeachment article against SCOTUS Clarence Thomas if no one else will. Why the fuck are none of the GOP drafting impeachment articles against a long list of Biden and his cabinet members?

Of course, we all know that Justice Thomas is a man of integrity and honor.

No one has proved that these “bribes” were bribes.

Is it now unlawful for Supreme Court justices to have friends and hang out with their friends?

The reality is that everyone in DC has friends that they hang out with – and often times, those friends have a lot of money.

That doesn’t make them guilty of a crime.

Again, the real issue here is that Democrats are calling Justice Thomas “guilty,” rather than presuming that he’s innocent, which is the American way.

The ironic part?

AOC is facing an ethics investigation herself…

“Squad” stalwart Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says she’s willing to file articles of impeachment against Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas for failing to report decades of luxury trips with a billionaire GOP donor — even amid an ethics probe of her own.

“I think this is an emergency. I think that this is a crisis,” the New York Democrat said. “I think we’ve had a crisis for some time on the Supreme Court.”

Yet the 33-year-old socialist firebrand is currently facing a House ethics investigation herself.

“If we decide strategically that the actual author of those articles and who introduces them may not be me. That’s fine. I will support impeachment,” she told lefty outlet The Lever.

“But I just think that if no one’s going to introduce it, I would certainly be open to doing so.”
