Have Democrats Just Opened Pandora’s Box by Indicting Trump?

Democrats may have made a huge mistake in coming after President Donald Trump so aggressively.

Many believe that they have opened Pandora’s box by indicting Trump.

Their actions may now give republicans the green light to come after some of the big players in the democrat party such as the Clintons, the Obamas, and the Bidens.

If republicans have any guts left, they’ll respond accordingly.

Either way, the democrats have just opened a door that could come back to hit them on the rear end.

Paul Sperry wrote a piece for the New York Post that explores the possibility of this coming back to bite the democrats hard:

Democrats are jumping for joy at the prospect of Donald Trump finally getting hooked, like Al Capone, on some kind of — any kind of — criminal charge.

But their own political idols — namely, the Clintons or Bidens — could one day be gored by a hyperpartisan district attorney in search of a crime, no matter how picayune.

Democratic Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump is so convoluted that even the Washington Post thinks it’s a stretch — and one that sets an ominous precedent. It threatens to open a Pandora’s box of political indictments against former presidents and other elected officials, as well as their family members, by local prosecutors seeking to settle political scores.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out for the democrats:

The Clintons and the Obamas must be sweating right now.

They could wind up being targeted when the pendulum swings back the other way.

There is already plenty of dirt already dug up on both families.

The Clinton Foundation absolutely stinks of corruption and the Obamas might be even worse.

Of course, the Biden family will likely end up being the first ones to go down given how fresh their own corruption is.

According to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, multiple GOP County Attorneys have already expressed interest in coming after the Bidens.

Newsbreak provided some of Comer’s comments:

And I’ll tell you, one of the things that I don’t think it’s been picked up a lot that’s going to be a problem. And I had two calls yesterday, one from a county attorney in Kentucky and one from a county attorney in Tennessee. They were Republican, obviously, both states are heavily Republican. They want to know if there are ways they can go after the Bidens now.

And they’ve opened a can of worms. They’ve set precedents now that we can’t go back on. And now we’re going to see a judicial system that’s already bogged down with doing what they’re supposed to do, and that’s going after real criminals, people that are committing real crimes, burglaries, rape, robberies, things like that. And now you’re going to start having ambitious political people like Alvin Bragg try to make a name for themselves and go after big pie-in-the-sky federal cases. And it’s just not a good path that we need to go forward on in our judiciary.

The world may soon see what true corruption looks like:
