Some frightening information is coming out of Florida this afternoon.
A raised platform has been discovered hidden amid the branches of a tree just across from the tarmac of Palm Beach International Airport.
What is being treated as an elevated firing position is perfectly positioned for a LINE OF SIGHT vantage overlooking the airport.
In fact, it just so happens to overlook the exact spot where President Trump regularly exits and descends the stairs of Air Force One.
What would normally be considered a ‘hunting stand’ in the circles I run in is oddly placed — unless there’s a herd of Whitetail frequenting the Palm Beach tarmac that has been kept secret.
President Trump actually used the airport on Friday, sometime after the discovery was made.
Eric Trump just posted a shot of the ‘hunting stand’ currently being investigated, and made basically the same sarcastic Whitetail joke that I did:
“Hunting Stand” – for all the Whitetail on Southern BLVD, located across the street from Palm Beach International Airport, in the median of a major highway… 200yds away from the Air Force One stairs. Ps Secret Service did a GREAT job fining this… Hunting Stand. pic.twitter.com/RGG74aAqcn

No — there are no Whitetails running around that area of Palm Beach, Florida.
But it does look like someone on the Secret Service just earned their pay!
Here’s a look at the proximity of the two locations we’re talking about.
The possible firing position was found in the clump of trees indicated by the red arrow on this map, with the red & black line marking out the approximate line of sight to where President Trump regularly steps off Air Force One:

Here’s a wider map of the area…
Just to highlight that HUNTING was almost definitely not the intention behind the placement of this ‘hunting stand’.
At least, not the hunting of an ANIMAL.

This story is still breaking and only so much information has been released at this time.
The FBI is investigating, and we know that some type of evidence has been collected, presumably more than just the stand itself.
Chief of Communications for the Secret Service gave credit for the discovery to a team sweeping the area before the President’s arrival last Friday, according to this breaking news report from Fox News:
The U.S. Secret Service uncovered a suspicious hunting stand with a direct line of sight to where President Donald Trump exits Air Force One at the Palm Beach International Airport, officials told Fox News Digital.
Agents found the stand on Thursday, and the FBI is now leading an investigation into the discovery. FBI Director Kash Patel said the hunting stand has not yet been connected to any individual.
ADVERTISEMENT“Prior to the President’s return to West Palm Beach, USSS discovered what appeared to be an elevated hunting stand within sight line of the Air Force One landing zone,” Patel told Fox News Digital. “No individuals were located at the scene. The FBI has since taken the investigatory lead, flying in resources to collect all evidence from the scene, and deploying our cell phone analytics capabilities.”
USSS chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi also confirmed that the organization is “working closely” with the FBI as well as law enforcement in Palm Beach County.
Guglielmi said agents discovered the hunting stand during their “advance security preparations” prior to Trump’s arrival in Palm Beach.
Director Patel also shared the Fox News story I referenced above, posting on X a short time ago.
He corroborating that the stand was indeed found within proximity to an area of the airport that has an official ‘AF1’ designation:
USSS spotted a suspicious stand near the AF1 zone in Palm Beach.

So far the only ‘evidence’ made public by the Secret Service is that photo shared by Eric Trump which I included above.
Patel said in that earlier Fox News story that cell phone evidence was being examined, but no word yet on whether the early investigation has turned up any leads on that front.
According to another report, no individuals were found in proximity to the stand — as reported by CBS News:
The U.S. Secret Service said in a statement it found “items of interest” while sweeping the area before Mr. Trump’s arrival on Friday. The agency didn’t identify the items, but it shared a photo of what appeared to be a platform set up high in a tree.
“There was no impact to any movements and no individuals were present or involved at the location,” Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi said.
The president flew into the Palm Beach airport on Friday and is set to head back to Washington on Sunday after spending the weekend at his Mar-A-Lago club.
ADVERTISEMENTThe airport is located less than a mile north of Mr. Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach, which was the site of an attempted assassination against the president last year. Prosecutors say Ryan Routh — who was found guilty in the assassination plot last month — pointed a rifle from the golf club’s tree line, but Secret Service agents spotted him and opened fire.
This is a developing story with very few details being released at this time.
We’ll be sure to bring you updates at more information becomes available.
