Few, if any, presidencies in American history have started off with a flurry of activity and achievements that could rival the first month of President Donald Trump’s second term.
There are several factors at play, but one high-level adviser to the president has identified one fundamental change that seems to have had the biggest positive impact thus far.
As Dr. Sebastian Gorka, who serves as the National Security Council senior director for counterterrorism, told Breitbart’s Alex Marlow:
“President Trump used to call me when he wanted to talk to me on Sundays or Saturday afternoon. Why? Because his chief of staff, John Kelly, was monitoring his phone calls during the week,” Gorka revealed.
“We don’t have subversives inside the building. We don’t have a chief of staff who’s literally a saboteur,” he said.
Gorka said that while there is a process under Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, now when he wants to see the president, he can walk into the Oval Office. “Nobody’s policing me,” he said.
He said Trump recently pulled him into the Oval Office to look at his new challenge coin. “He says, ‘Sebastian, have you seen this?’ And he pulled the drawer of the Resolute Desk, and there’s these massive new presidential challenge coins,” he said.
Wiles has received significant praise since Trump announced her as his pick to serve as chief of staff:
JUST IN: Donald Trump's campaign manager Susie Wiles has been named Chief of Staff.
She is the first female Chief of Staff in history.
Wiles has been credited for running what is seen as Trump's "most sophisticated and disciplined campaign."

Fox News reported on Trump’s pick in the wake of November’s election:
During his victory celebration in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump gave a special thanks to Wiles for her prominent role in the campaign.
“Let me also express my tremendous appreciation for Susie [Wiles] and Chris [LaCivita], on the job you did. Susie, come, Susie,” he said. “Susie likes to stay sort of in the back, let me tell you. The ice baby. We call her the ice baby. Susie likes to stay in the background. She’s not in the background.”
Trump described Wiles as “tough, smart, innovative” and said she is “universally admired and respected.”
He noted her place as the first female chief of staff in U.S. history, saying: “I have no doubt that she will make our country proud.”
Veteran GOP strategist John Brabender told Fox News Digital: “If they searched high and low in the entire world, there is not a better choice than Susie Wiles for White House Chief of Staff.”
As a result of re-entering the White House as a well-oiled machine, Trump’s second administration is already leaving Democrats at a loss about how to effectively oppose him:
