Thousands of democrats flocked to Washington, D.C., on Monday to protest President Trump and Elon Musk.
Protesters were seen holding anti-DOGE signs, and one protester in particular had an effigy of Trump with a noose around his neck.

Per AP:
Donald Trump is the president, but billionaire Elon Musk is the focus for thousands of Democratic activists launching a protest campaign this week to fight the Trump administration’s push to gut federal health, education and human services agencies.
Hundreds of protests are scheduled outside congressional offices and Tesla dealerships, with organizers hoping to send a pointed message to members of Congress who are on recess this week.
ADVERTISEMENTThe backlash still hasn’t approached the intensity of protests during and after Trump’s first inauguration eight years ago. But a loose coalition of Democrats and progressives is coalescing around Musk’s rise as Trump’s top lieutenant and his purge of the federal bureaucracy.
“He’s a major weak link in the MAGA coalition,” Ezra Levin, co-founder of the progressive group Indivisible, said of Musk. “I can’t think of something that polls worse than the richest man in the world is coming after your Social Security check or your Meals on Wheels or your Head Start.”
The drag queens have arrived at the protests in DC to rage against Trump and Elon.

President’s Day will see federal workers, community members, and others take to D.C. streets to protest recent federal layoffs, funding cuts, and other policies implemented by President Donald Trump’s administration in the first few weeks of his second term.
Separate protests carried out by faith leaders, civil rights leaders, and other activist groups will take place starting at 11 a.m. on Monday with a big gathering set to happen on Capitol Hill at around noon.
At 11 a.m., faith leaders from across the country and officials with the NAACP and American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) will gather at the Metropolitan AME Chuch to discuss concerns over recent federal policies and the harm they cause to African Americans.
