President Trump Signs New Executive Order Regarding COVID Mandates


President Donald Trump has signed a new executive order preventing federal funding for schools implementing COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

The White House revealed, “federal funds from being used to support or subsidize an educational service agency, state education agency, local education agency, elementary school, secondary school, or institution of higher education that requires students to have received a COVID-19 vaccination to attend in-person education programs.”

The executive order also will give the Department of Health and Human Services Secretary led by Robert F. Kennedy  will “provide a plan to end coercive COVID-19 vaccine mandates.”

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Friday barring schools who still have coronavirus vaccine mandates from receiving federal funds.

The order, according to a report from Breitbart confirmed by the White House, prohibits “federal funds from being used to support or subsidize an educational service agency, state education agency, local education agency, elementary school, secondary school, or institution of higher education that requires students to have received a COVID-19 vaccination to attend in-person education programs.”

It also tasks Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy and the Secretary of Education to establish guidelines for compliance and to “provide a plan to end coercive COVID-19 vaccine mandates.”

That includes coming up with a system to block federal funding to “educational entities” that have coronavirus vaccine mandates.

President Donald Trump on Friday signed an executive order halting federal funds for schools that require students to be vaccinated against coronavirus before they can attend classes in person.

Trump’s administration has already taken steps to end coronavirus vaccine requirements at the federal level, including for green card applicants, and reinstated service members who were discharged for refusing the vaccine.

Trump was joined in the Oval Office by members of his Cabinet. The decision to vaccinate should be up to the parents of a student, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said.
