President Trump Expected To Sign Executive Order Taking Action Against Schools Enforcing COVID-19 Jab Mandates

According to Breitbart, President Trump is expected to sign an executive order to restrict federal funding for schools and universities that require students be vaccinated against COVID-19.

The expected order would apply to education service agencies, state education agencies, and local education agencies.

More from Breitbart:

The order would prohibit “federal funds from being used to support or subsidize an educational service agency, state education agency, local education agency, elementary school, secondary school, or institution of higher education that requires students to have received a COVID-19 vaccination to attend in-person education programs,” it reads.

The expected order will also direct newly-minted Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy and the secretary of Education to establish compliance guidelines “and provide a plan to end coercive COVID-19 vaccine mandates.”

This would include writing a report about any entities that fail to comply with the order and developing a system to halt federal funding to such entities.

Trump said at various points on the campaign trail that he “will not allow schools to impose COVID mandates” and would “not give one penny to any school that has a vaccine mandate.”

“I will not give ONE PENNY to any school that has a vaccine mandate or a mask mandate,” Trump previously said.

Trump previously issued an executive order to reinstate military service members who were dismissed because they refused the COVID-19 jab.

Per Axios:

The order reverses the dismissals by the Biden administration, restoring thousands of service members to their previous rank and providing them with back pay and benefits.

More than 8,000 service members were discharged for refusing to get vaccinated under a 2021 memorandum.

The military’s vaccine mandate was rescinded in early 2023 after it was lifted in an annual defense spending bill.

“The vaccine mandate was an unfair, overbroad, and completely unnecessary burden on our service members,” Trump wrote in the executive order.

“Further, the military unjustly discharged those who refused the vaccine, regardless of the years of service given to our Nation, after failing to grant many of them an exemption that they should have received. Federal Government redress of any wrongful dismissals is overdue.”
