President Trump and Elon Musk sat down for a joint interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity in the Oval Office.
The full interview is not out yet (it will air on Tuesday), but Fox News has released a few clips.
In one clip, Sean Hannity mentioned the MSM’s futile attempts to tear apart President Trump and Elon Musk’s wonderful partnership.
You know, the whole ‘Elon Musk is the real president’ schtick?
Hannity brought it up, “They want you two – they want a divorce. They want you two to start hating each other. And they try. Oh, President Elon Musk, for example. You do know that they’re doing that to you?” Hannity asked.
And, President Trump responded, “I see it all the time,” before going on to say, “Actually, Elon called me. He said, you know, they’re trying to drive us apart. I said, absolutely. No, they said, We have breaking news. Donald Trump has ceded control of the presidency to Elon Musk. President Musk will be attending a cabinet meeting tonight at eight o’clock. And I say, it’s just so obvious. There’s so bad at it. I used to think they were good at it. They’re actually bad at it because if they were good at it, I’d never be president.”
Watch President Trump’s awesome response in its entirety here for yourself:

Nice try, fake news media!
Your narratives aren’t working anymore.
Not on President Trump.
Not on Elon Musk.
Not on the American people.
Mediaite commented:
President Donald Trump and Elon Musk told Sean Hannity in an Oval Office interview that will air in full next week the media wants them to “divorce.”
Since Trump announced Musk would run the pseudo-government agency, the Department of Government Efficiency, many have predicted the president would grow tired of sharing his spotlight with the Tesla CEO. Trump and Musk told Hannity the media would not “divorce” them in an interview snippet that aired on Friday’s The Five.
During the following exchange, both billionaires agreed with Hannity that the legacy media was trying to drive a wedge between them:
HANNITY: You’re both aware, you have to be keenly aware that the media and the punditry class – I think you’ve proven they have no power anymore because they threw everything they had at you and they didn’t win. And that was, you know, The New York Times, Washington Post, three networks, every late-night comedy show to cable channels.
ADVERTISEMENTThey just, they threw everything. Lawfare, weaponization. And now I see They want you two – they want a divorce. They want you two to start hating each other. And they try. Oh, President Elon Musk, for example. You do know that they’re doing that to you?
TRUMP: I see it all the time. They tried it. Then they stopped. They have many different things of hatred. Actually, Elon called me. They’re actually bad at it because if they were good at it, I’d never be president.
Because I think nobody in history has ever gotten more bad publicity than me. I could do the greatest things. I get 98% bad publicity I could do outside of you. Few of your very good friends, Right? It’s like the craziest thing. But you know what I have learned, Elon? The people are smart. They get it.
Hannity’s full interview with President Trump and Elon Musk’s will be released on Tuesday at 9 PM ET.
From The Hill:
