BREAKING: President Trump Announces Putin Has Agreed to IMMEDIATELY Begin Peace Talks Over Ending War in Ukraine

This is big news…

President Trump just announced that he had a “lengthy and highly productive phone call” with Putin, during which Putin agreed to “immediately” begin negotiating the end of the war in Ukraine.

In a post on Truth Social, President Trump said that peace negotiations will begin with a phone call to Zelensky.

He also said that he will appoint Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Director of the CIA John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Ambassador and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to lead the negotiations.

From Fox News:

President Donald Trump said he had a “lengthy” call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, which included Putin agreeing to “immediately” begin negotiations over the war in Ukraine.

“We agreed to work together, very closely, including visiting each other’s Nations,” Trump posted to Truth Social on Wednesday. “We have also agreed to have our respective teams start negotiations immediately, and we will begin by calling President Zelenskyy, of Ukraine, to inform him of the conversation, something which I will be doing right now. I have asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Director of the CIA John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Ambassador and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, to lead the negotiations which, I feel strongly, will be successful.”

Vladimir Putin has already invited President Trump to Moscow to arrange a face-to-face meeting for negotiations.

Reuters confirmed:

Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday discussed ending the war in Ukraine, agreed to meet in the future and Putin invited Trump to Moscow, the Kremlin said.
Putin last spoke to a sitting U.S. president in February 2022 when he had a call with Joe Biden shortly before ordering thousands of troops into Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Putin and Trump discussed the Middle East, bilateral relations, Ukraine and a prisoner exchange between Washington and Moscow, state news agency TASS reported.

“The Russian president invited the U.S. president to visit Moscow and expressed his readiness to receive American officials in Russia in those areas of mutual interest, including, of course, the topic of the Ukrainian settlement,” Peskov said.

“Putin and Trump also agreed to continue personal contacts, including arranging a face-to-face meeting.”

President Trump promised a swift end to the Russia-Ukraine war, which would have never happened if he had been in the White House at its conception.
And, he’s making good on that promise!
Not even one month into his second term and Putin is already ready to being peace talks! It’s amazing, but this is exactly what President Trump does.
We’ll keep you updated on any new developments, which I have a feeling will be coming very soon…
