“PURE GOLD”: Chuck Schumer Tries To Copy DOGE, Fails Miserably

Chuck Schumer is basically the definition of a cringe loser.

He’s not smart, not smooth, he doesn’t know how to cook a cheeseburger or act like a normal human being….and then he steals your ideas and tries to claim they’re his.

In a move that’s sad and hilarious even for Chuck, he’s now trying to copy DOGE and claim like it’s a new brainstorm he just came up with.

Check out this nausea-inducing post:

Chuck is launching a new portal to stop fraud, waste and abuse.

Ahhh gee, thanks Chuck, but we already have DOGE and that’s kind of what they’re doing over there, and they’re actually real and not something that is just a PR grab, so with all due respect we’ll just stick with DOGE.

But….it did provide some incredible comedic relief.

Elon Musk, the Chief DOGE man, himself noted the comments on Chuck’s post are comedy gold:

And indeed they are.

Starting with Elon’s first:

“Look into this Schumer guy, he’s definitely done crime!”

'He's Not Good At This': Even Jon Stewart Thought Schumer's Anti-Tariff Stunt Was Embarrassing

When it comes to making a point on Capitol Hill, legislators have long resorted to bizarre ploys aimed at attracting attention.

Many times, these efforts fall flat, as has been the case on multiple occasions for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

The most recent example might be among the worst, since even the reliably left-leaning comedian Jon Stewart couldn't resist taking a few shots at the senator over it.

Here's what Stewart had to say, per Fox News:

Schumer, D-N.Y., added that tariffs will mean "higher prices for New Yorkers" and that "everything you were promised during the election is out the window if these tariffs go through."

Left-leaning comedian Jon Stewart opened his "Daily Show" by lambasting Trump’s initial orders regarding federal email pronouns but also saved some comic invective for Schumer.

"Your response to the trade war is to f---ing tell us guacamole is made of avocados?" Stewart said, adding that Democrats need to stop "trotting Schumer out every time Trump traverses into the unreal – He’s not good at this."

Schumer was mocked relentlessly on social media for using props to make his case:

Here's a transcript of Trump's social media statement from the post above:

I just spoke with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico. It was a very friendly conversation wherein she agreed to immediately supply 10,000 Mexican Soldiers on the Border separating Mexico and the United States. These soldiers will be specifically designated to stop the flow of fentanyl, and illegal migrants into our Country. We further agreed to immediately pause the anticipated tariffs for a one month period during which we will have negotiations headed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent, and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and high-level Representatives of Mexico. I look forward to participating in those negotiations, with President Sheinbaum, as we attempt to achieve a "deal" between our two Countries.

Some critics even used Schumer's latest flub to hearken back to another awkward moment involving the New York Democrat:

In case you don't remember the post that inspired the image above, here's a flashback, as the New York Post reported in June:

“Our family has lived in an apartment building for all our years, but my daughter and her wife just bought a house with a backyard and for the first time we’re having a barbeque with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill!” Schumer tweeted. “Father’s Day Heaven!”

But commenters were quick to grill the New York legislator and wondered if a piece of cheese on a patty was placed there prematurely.

“Chuck. I love you man, but you put the cheese on AFTER the burger is cooked,” one saucy user said.

“Might want to cook that burger longer, Chuck,” another commented.

Ex-National Republican Senatorial Committee Matt Whitlock tweeted, “Seeing that piece of cheese on a raw patty,” with a gif of a concerned Steve Carell slinking away.

Here's the relevant portion of Stewart's response to Schumer's cringey display from the recent episode of "The Daily Show":
