WATCH: Secret Service Airs EPIC Super Bowl Recruiting Ad Directed by Hollywood Legend

The Secret Service just released an absolutely epic recruitment ad, which is airing during the Super Bowl today.

The ad was produced by Hollywood Director Michael Bay and cost $2 million, which is actually a steep discount to the typical $8 million charge for Super Bowl ads.

It highlighted the Secret Service’s very important role in protecting presidents throughout history, featuring historical footage of JFK and Ronald Regan, as well as President Trump.

The aim of the ad is to attract the best and brightest to join the most elite security team in the world — the United States Secret Service!

In light of the thwarted assassination attempts against President Trump, there’s a critical need for the USSS to be revamped, and this ad definitely aligns with that mission.

Fox News reported:

The U.S. Secret Service is expected to play a recruiting video for NFL fans inside the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans just before Super Bowl LIX kicks off on Sunday night, Fox News Digital has learned.

The minute-long ad, produced by award-winning American director Michael Bay, will only be played by the NFL inside the stadium, which has a capacity of 83,000.

The video obtained by Fox News Digital began with compelling scenes of American history.

“America was founded on an idea of freedom. America has always stepped forward in time of need throughout our short but powerful history,” the narrator says. “We’ve been there for all of it.”

Scenes of American service men and women flash alongside scenes of infamous assassination attempts, including the 1981 attack on former President Ronald Reagan and President Donald Trump, who survived a July 13 assassination attempt after being shot in the ear during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The New York Post added:

The US Secret Service has reportedly spent $2 million on a Michael Bay-produced Super Bowl Sunday recruiting ad to attract new agents.

The pricey ad from the blockbuster director – known for action flicks like “Armageddon,” “The Rock” and the “Transformers” series – will likely be unveiled on the jumbotron inside New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome just before the title game, CNN reported, quoting multiple NFL and Secret Service sources.

One source said it cost double what was spent on previous recruiting ads for the law enforcement agency that famously protects the president.

At least the feds won’t have to pay the bonkers fees networks charge for Super Bowl ads – a 30-second TV spot costs up the $8 million this year, but the ad time was donated, the outlet said.

The move comes at a critical time for the agency, whose members have been wracked with burnout and besieged with morale and retention problems.

Those problems came to light following the two assassination attempts against President Trump — one in July in which a sniper shot him in the ear and narrowly missed his head, and a second in which a gunman laid in wait at his golf course.
