There’s no doubt about it, President Donald Trump hit the ground running the moment after his inauguration last month.
He has arguably accomplished more in a few weeks than many of his predecessors got done in an entire term:

Of course, his breakneck pace might appear even more frenetic following four years of watching Joe Biden essentially drift away while in office.
The New York Post recently offered a glimpse into Trump’s typical day, and the president explained in his own words how his approach fundamentally differs from that of his predecessor:
In the renewed vigor of the Oval Office, President Trump doesn’t take meetings in the traditional sense, where one guest leaves before another departs.
Instead, in gregarious fashion, the president rolls one meeting into another and introduces the principals to each other, creating a burst of high-energy chemistry and humor that has transformed the White House from a mausoleum into a symphony of personal interaction.
He has shaken so many hands that the back of his right hand is almost permanently adorned with a large skin-colored Band-Aid to cover bruises and scratches from enthusiastic well-wishers.
ADVERTISEMENTHis days start at 6 a,m, and often end close to midnight over small convivial dinners in the White House with assorted dignitaries.
He is more lively at 78 than most people 40 years younger.
When he wakes up, the first thing that goes through his mind, he says, is “business. Everything’s business.
Now, it’s political business.
“There’s no thoughts of leisure, no going to the beach like Sleepy Joe Biden did and falling asleep in front of the press. How do you fall asleep in front of the press?”
Indeed, there are plenty of examples to back up Trump’s depiction of Biden:

WOW!!! Joe Biden appears to be sleeping while listening to survivors speak about their homes burning to the ground 🤯

Not only is Trump clearly outperforming Biden’s pace, but he’s doing so with a much clearer mandate than at the beginning of his first term.
According to Fox News:
Forty-six percent of voters say they approve of the job the Republican president is doing so far, with 43% disapproving, according to a Quinnipiac University survey released on Wednesday.
The poll was conducted Jan. 23-27, during Trump’s first week back in the White House following his Jan. 20th inauguration.
The president’s approval rating is an improvement from Quinnipiac polling in late January 2017 – as Trump began his first term in office – when he stood at 36% approval and 44% disapproval.
Here’s how White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt characterized the Trump administration’s early wins:
