Potentially one of the greatest success stories of President Trump’s administration, and a step that could possibly lead to an American national resurgence the likes of which we may not have anything to compare it to has happened.
According to reports, and Elon Musk’s post…
The U.S. Department of Education ‘DOES NOT EXIST’.

It has been eliminated.
And Elon Musk chose an EPIC MEANS by which to announce the end of that national disaster!
Check this out…
What is this “Department of Education” you keep talking about?
I just checked and it doesn’t exist.

Rep. Maxwell Frost (Dem-Fl) was part of the group of democrats attempting to gain access to the Dept. of Education building two days ago alongside Maxine Waters.
Frost shared a video of himself and Maxine at the site, stating the following:
ELON IS ALLOWED IN THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. NOT YOUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES OR STUDENTS & PARENTS. I WILL BE BACK.
Meanwhile, DOGE was inside attempting to do their work…
Checking books, and carrying out the business of the Executive Branch of the U.S. government, under the auspices of President Trump, which rightly exercises “executive” authority over U.S. government agencies.
At least, that’s how it works if you approach the issue Constitutionally.
And then, today… just a few minutes ago… this, from Elon Musk on Frost’s video post!
What is this “Department of Education” you keep talking about?
I just checked and it doesn’t exist.

MSNBC is reporting on Elon’s statement — simply that he made the statement.
As I am researching this story, I am reminded of the past few weeks, dotted as they have been with federal agency closures and deletions.
It does appear that Elon Musk has chosen to announce the elimination of the U.S. Department of Education on a democrat congressman’s outraged social media post!
Just six days ago, Elon Musk warned that President Trump would “succeed” in shutting down the Dept. of Education, according to a report in Newsweek:
Elon Musk has said President Donald Trump will “succeed” in shutting down the Department of Education.
The billionaire made the comments on his social media platform X in response to a report in The Washington Post that said Trump was preparing an executive order to dismantle the department.
Newsweek has contacted the White House, the Department of Education and Musk for comment via email.
There has been growing speculation about what actions Trump would take with the Department of Education after returning to office in January.
ADVERTISEMENTHe campaigned on a promise to shut down the federal department, saying the agency’s power should be turned over to states and schools.
And it looks as though, to some degree, that warning has come true.
I am expecting to hear an announcement soon on a combination of things regarding this news, including:
- Executive Orders supporting the elimination of the federal department.
- Announcements of financial transfer of properties (office space and buildings) to other federal agencies by means of transferring lease agreements.
- Plans put forward for legislative action to coincide with the elimination of the department as a financial and legal entity.
Who knows? Customs and Border Protection may have even more office space, now!
Here’s President Trump making promises that he intended to keep.
The Department of Education’s budget for fiscal year 2025 is $82.4 billion, with an average salary of $112,164, 56% higher than the average government employee.

Watch Bret Baier’s reaction to President Trump’s answer regarding his trust of Elon Musk just a short time in an interview that aired before the Super Bowl.
He literally can’t wrap his head around the fact that Trump is “allowing” Elon to head up DOGE and do the work he is having him do:
NEW: Trump visibly surprised after Fox News' Bret Baier asks him if he trusts Elon Musk, says he is going to send Musk after the Department of Education next.
Baier: "Bottom line, you say you trust [Elon]?"
Trump: "Trust Elon? He's not gaining anything. In fact, I wonder how he… pic.twitter.com/zZlxetgc7H

If President Trump had used some no-name bureaucrat to head up DOGE, and had done exactly the same thing that Elon is doing…
All the democrats mad that Elon Musk is doing this work would still be mad, but they wouldn’t have a problem with WHO is actually on the ground directing the work.
But because Elon Musk is highly capable, smart, and rich… he’s the bad guy.
Thank God President Trump is more into MERIT than DEI HIRING!!!
This is a developing story, and is likely going to require further action to see the Dept. of Education fully erased.
But at the moment, Elon Musk has stated that there is no longer a Dept. of Education within the federal government — which likely means it has been deleted as a financial entity and removed of any power it previously exercised.
As a father of 4 (soon to be 5) who homeschools, I couldn’t be happier with this news.
Well, if I sent my kids to the local public school… I would probably be EVEN HAPPIER with this news!
Enough of the federal encroachment on the family and the local community. It starts with education — and whether you decide to homeschool or send your kids to the local school — it should BE ‘LOCAL’.
There should be no such thing as a “government” school in the United States, funded or controlled by the United States federal government.
Hopefully, this is a step firmly in that direction. I pray to God, that it is.
