‘I Celebrate It’: Even Far-Left Comic Michael Rapaport Has Found Something To ‘Love’ About President Trump

After spending years calling President Donald Trump every name in the book, comedian and actor Michael Rapaport has been singing a different tune lately.

He’s among the many celebrities who have become disillusioned with the Democratic Party — particularly over the course of the Biden administration — and, often reluctantly, started finding common ground with the MAGA movement.

Most recently, Rapaport offered some praise for Trump’s second-term actions, particularly regarding efforts to combat antisemitism. Of course, his penchant for immature name-calling remains intact:

As Breitbart reported:

The Copland star later praised Trump for his executive order to combat  anti-Jewish hate.

As Breitbart News reported, the order requires all executive agencies to identify ongoing actions against antisemitism, as well as actions that can be taken, within 60 days.

In addition, it directs certain agencies to push colleges and universities to monitor activities of “alien students and staff” who are involved in antisemitic protests, so that they can be investigated and deported.

“I am happy that a task force for antisemitism, for anti-Jewishness, has been implemented by Trump,” Rapaport said. “I love it.”

This issue has fueled much of Rapaport’s criticism of the Democratic Party in recent months:

He has also signaled some support for the efforts of the Department of Government Efficiency…

…as well as Trump’s proposal about the U.S. taking control of Gaza:

Fox News reported on the latter:

“I don’t know what to tell you. Something needs to happen,” Rapaport said in the clip.”They’ve been trying and trying and trying, and Clinton and Obama and Bush and Carter, and every single person has been trying and trying and trying and Golda,” he continued, mentioning former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir.

“And everybody has been trying and trying and trying with these people. Nothing worked. At some point, people have to go, ‘That’s it, man. You can’t figure it out for yourselves, we’re going to figure it out for you.’”

Joking about Gaza becoming one of Trump’s newest real estate projects, Rapaport said, “Mar-a-Lago 2025, motherf—–! Gaza Plaza 2025, motherf—–!’”

“If you’re more offended by the idea of the United States taking over Gaza than what you have seen with your own eyes, for decade after decade, from October 7th, even now — sometimes you have to learn the f—ing hard way,” the comedian said, concluding his clip.

Here’s the full, unedited clip:
