“I Want To Talk To You About The Epstein Case”: Senator Asks Kash The Million Dollar Question

There is no shortage of topics that might be fielded during a Senate hearing to confirm a presidential nominee for a top job.

In reality, the Senators can ask the nominees anything that suits their fancy — and some do.

But yesterday during Kash Patel’s confirmation hearing to become the Director of the FBI, one senator asked what I would easily call “the million dollar question”.

Senator Marsha Blackburn who represents the great state of Tennessee broached a subject that many of us would be willing to turn into a single-issue contest in terms of confirming a nominee for Director of the FBI.

Those Epstein files — what happens to that closely held name list?

To her great credit, Senator Blackburn got right to the point, and I’m glad to say Kash Patel didn’t disappoint in his answer.

Here’s the clip shared by Sen. Blackburn to her X account:

That exchange may go down in history as the lead up to the final reveal of the Epstein flight logs.

Not only does President Trump plan on releasing that information per his campaign promises, but Kash Patel is clearly willing to make that information known.

Here’s Senator Blackburn in December of 2023 pushing for Senator Durbin to allow that information to be placed under Senate subpoena in order to make the information known — which he consistently blocked.

I showed the clip from 2023 for the following reason.  After yesterday’s hearing, Sen. Durbin suddenly tried to play dumb, reaching out to Blackburn’s office for information about what files she had been talking about.

You’re telling me Sen. Durbin didn’t know exactly what files Sen. Blackburn had been trying to subpoena and which he had blocked?

That was his argument, according to Fox News:

“I want to talk to you about the Epstein case. I have worked on this for years trying to get those records of who flew on Epstein’s plane and who helped him build this international human trafficking sex trafficking ring,” she said.

She used her remarks to take a jab at former Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin.

“Now, earlier, I urged then Chairman Durbin to subpoena those records, and I ended up being blocked by Senator Durbin and Christopher Wray. They stonewalled on this,” she said. “And I know that breaking up these trafficking rings is important to President Trump. So will you work with me on this issue? So we know who worked with Jeffrey Epstein in building these sex trafficking rings?” she asked.

“Absolutely, Senator,” Patel responded. “Child sex trafficking has no place in the United States of America. And I will do everything, if confirmed as FBI director, to make sure the American public knows the full weight of what happened in the past and how we are going to counterman missing children and exploited children going forward,” he said.

Following the exchange between Blackburn and Patel, Durbin requested to respond to Blackburn’s jab at him and accused the Tennessee senator of “falsely” accusing him “of preventing releasing the names of Jeffrey Epstein’s network.”

Oddly enough, Senator Durbin is adamant that he will not be voting to confirm Kash Patel for FBI Director.

Imagine that.

The problem for democrats and RINOs attempting to block Kash Patel’s confirmation is that they only have two serious avenues of approach.

They can claim that he is “unqualified” — which is the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard, but they are praying people don’t realize how much experience and qualifications he actually has under his belt.

Or they can claim that his character is suspect, and he will misuse the power of the law for unconstitutional actions — which is equally absurd if you have spent 5 minutes listening to him speak about any subject.

In other words, democrats and RINOs trying to block his confirmation have a SERIOUS problem, because he is at once incredibly qualified and has the character of an Eagle Scout (when that actually meant something).

The man is the epitome of a skilled, intelligent, diligent do-gooder.

Which is why, when asked by Senator Blackburn if he would work with her to get the Epstein files disclosed, he had one simple answer, according to a report in The Tennessean:

During Kashyap “Kash” Patel’s Senate confirmation hearing on Thursday, the Tennessee Senator said she has worked on the case surrounding Jeffrey Epstein case for years and has requested the records be subpoenaed, but has faced alleged stonewalling.

“Will you work with me on this issue so we know who worked with Jeffrey Epstein in building these sex trafficking rings?” asked Blackburn, to which Patel responded “absolutely.”

According to Blackburn, the files would include information on who flew on Epstein’s plane and who collaborated with the wealthy financier to build an international sex-trafficking ring.

Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to a solicitation charge and an additional felony charge of procuring a minor for prostitution, in a deal that allowed him to traffic, rape and molest underage girls for 11 more years.

“Absolutely.”  That’s the answer of a man with no qualms and no political strings to hedge him in or effect his radical allegiance to the law and the good of the nation.

And that is exactly the sort of people we need heading up these agencies.

We need the sort of people that aren’t doing it because they are looking for another gig on the heels of their political career, but who actually care deeply about the issues besetting our nation.

In terms of the FBI, the best man for the job can be none other than Kash Patel.

Here’s the full 7 minute engagement between Senator Blackburn and Kash Patel from the first day of his confirmation hearing:

Simply the fact that democrats and RINOs are currently quaking in their boots is a good sign, which seems to portend that Patel’s confirmation might be just around the corner.

And those Epstein files?  They’re coming out.

One way or another, by executive order or by FBI Director signature (it will likely require both) those names, and that flight log, will come out.

Many are convinced that we are on the verge of a “disclosure” about alien technologies and decades of crash retrieval programs.

Maybe.

But we are definitively on the verge of a different sort of “disclosure”, if Kash Patel is confirmed by the Senate.

And that disclosure will expose more than an alien death ray set to “high”.

If Kash Patel has anything to say about it, that disclosure will expose an entire swamp infested by parasites and predators — and then the cleanup begins.
