Sen. Chuck Schumer is being blasted online over his very odd, creepy word choice during a press conference on Wednesday…
Speaking about President Trump’s federal funding freeze, Schumer said,
“Donald Trump, with his cruel policy, has aroused the American people and begun to show them how this administration is not for working families, but for the billionaires.”
He then went on to emphasize how ‘aroused’ people, apparently are…
“People are aroused! I haven’t seen people so aroused in a very, very long time!”
Um…what?

The New York Post commented:
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) argued Wednesday that President Trump’s federal grant freeze really got a rise out of Americans, claiming that he hasn’t seen “people so aroused in a very, very long time” — and leaving many social media users nauseated.
“Donald Trump, with his cruel policy, has aroused the American people and begun to show them how this administration is not for working families, but for the billionaires,” Schumer told reporters during a press conference on the White House Office of Management and Budget’s now-rescinded memo ordering a temporary freeze on federal grants and loans.
“People are aroused,” Schumer declared, claiming that local elected officials have been flooded with concerned messages from constituents over the memo.
“I haven’t seen people so aroused in a very, very long time,” the 74-year-old senator added.
Schumer’s word choice left several social media users feeling grossed out.
Grossed out is one way to describe it.
Chuck Schumer is one of the last people I’d ever want to hear say the word “aroused.”
Definitely up there with my grandma and Diddy.
Here’s how social media users are reacting:
Someone took too much Viagra today.

This isn’t the first time Chuck Schumer has raised eyebrows with his strange choice of words…
Remember this?
Chuck Schumer accidently accused Donald Trump of inciting an "erection."
