Remember the two astronauts who took off into space in Boeing’s Starliner last June?
Yep, they’re still stuck there.
NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore were originally supposed to return back to Earth after about a week.
However, the Starliner suffered multiple failures and helium leaks, which led to the two being “virtually abandoned” up in space, with Biden taking no action to get them back home.
President Trump has just asked Elon Musk to use SpaceX in order to rescue the pair, who have been stranded on the International Space Station for around 8 months.

🚨🇺🇸 TRUMP TO ELON: TIME TO BRING THOSE ASTRONAUTS HOME

Here’s President Trump’s full Truth Social post:
Elon Musk has accepted the call:
The @POTUS has asked @SpaceX to bring home the 2 astronauts stranded on the @Space_Station as soon as possible. We will do so.
Terrible that the Biden administration left them there so long.

More from The New York Post:
Billionaire Elon Musk vowed Tuesday to bring home the two astronauts who have been stuck in space for about eight months “as soon as possible” – and blasted the Biden White House for not retrieving them sooner.
The SpaceX CEO and “Department of Government Efficiency” head said in a social media post he was asked by President Donald Trump to rescue Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have both been in space since last June as part of what was initially meant to be a weeklong mission.
Plans involving a SpaceX capsule have been in place to help the pair step on solid ground again since Joe Biden was president.
The two NASA pilots reached the International Space Station via a Starliner – Boeing’s first flight into space – but problems with the capsule quickly developed, including helium leaks and thruster problems.
The Starliner returned to Earth last year after NASA determined it was too risky to have people inside.

“I have just asked Elon Musk and @SpaceX to ‘go get’ the 2 brave astronauts who have been virtually abandoned in space by the Biden Administration,” Trump said in a Truth Social post. “They have been waiting for many months on @Space Station. Elon will soon be on his way. Hopefully, all will be safe. Good luck Elon!!!”
Astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, part of a Boeing mission in early June, have been on the International Space Station (ISS) for a little over half a year. An initial launch was delayed multiple times because of thruster failures and helium leaks.
The trip of the two astronauts was originally meant to be around eight to ten days; however, the Boeing Starliner spacecraft they took off in caused NASA to be concerned and leave them at the ISS.
A return mission for Williams and Wilmore that would use a SpaceX craft was originally planned for February, but it was moved to at least late March.
