Meet Dank DeMoss.
She’s a rapper from Detroit, weighs nearly 500 pounds, and is now suing the ride-sharing company Lyft after one of their drivers denied her a ride because she wouldn’t fit in his car — a Mercedes-Benz sedan, to be specific.
In a video that DeMoss posted on social media, the driver told her, politely, that he had to cancel the ride because she was too large for the backseat and his tires could not support her weight.
Despite being refunded for the ride, the self-proclaimed BBW (big, beautiful woman) has launched a lawsuit against Lyft, alleging ‘discrimination’ based on her size.
Her lawyer said the driver’s refusal to give DeMoss a Lyft ride was, quote: “no different than refusing someone transportation based on their race or religion.”
You can’t make this up…
Just, see for yourself:

This woman has absolutely no shame.
The New York Post reported:
A plus-sized rapper who describes herself as a BBW — aka “big beautiful woman” — is suing Lyft after one of the company’s drivers allegedly told her she was too large to ride in his car.
Dank Demoss, who has previously disclosed that she weighs nearly 489 lbs., claims the rejection unfolded earlier this month in Detroit when the Lyft driver rolled up in his Mercedes-Benz sedan and immediately locked his doors.
“I can fit in this car,” the rapper, who also goes by Dajua Blanding, could be heard saying in a video she posted on social media on Jan. 19.
“Believe me, you can’t,” the driver shot back — adding later there was no room in the back and that his tires wouldn’t be able to handle the weight.
ADVERTISEMENTThe driver, who identified himself as Ibrahim in the now-viral clip, was filmed apologizing to Demoss, but maintaining that he was canceling the ride and telling her she should order an XL vehicle.
Daily Mail added:
The rapper filed a lawsuit against the Lyft driver claiming she was unfairly treated, and said in her legal action that she suffered emotional distress and humiliation.
In her suit, Blanding says the driver pulled up in a Mercedes Benz sedan, but locked his doors and tried to drive away when he saw her.
When she confronted him, she says the driver told her she was too big to fit in his backseats and said his tires could not support her weight.
‘What do I have to do with your tires?’ she was heard asking him in the clip.
Blanding’s attorneys Jonathan Marko and Zach Runyan argued that the driver refusing to take her constituted discrimination because weight is a protected characteristic in Michigan.
‘I knew that it was illegal, and I knew that it was wrong,’ Marko told Fox 2, equating the refusal to pick Blanding up ‘no different than refusing someone transportation based on their race or religion.’
ADVERTISEMENTRunyan added: ‘Refusing someone transportation based on their weight is not only illegal, but dangerous… Imagine the consequences if Ms. Blanding were unable to seek shelter after the driver left her stranded. This could have ended even worse than it did.’
Maybe Ms. DeMoss needs to take some advice from RFK Jr…
