Argentinian President Javier Milei — a.k.a. Argentina’s Trump — was on fire during a speech he gave at Davos on Thursday.
In his address, Milei announced a new international alliance that he is forming, along with President Trump, Italian PM Giorgia Meloni, Hungary PM Viktor Orban, and many others.
The goal of the new alliance is to fight against wokeism and promote freedom.
This could have a significant impact on the world stage, where woke ideologies reign.

More from Financial Review:
Argentina’s firebrand president Javier Milei has named the members of what he calls a new libertarian alliance of countries, whose mission is to push other Western nations to stamp out “woke ideology” and shrink the state.
“I no longer feel alone,” Mr Milei said in a typically punchy keynote speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday (Friday AEDT). “Slowly an international alliance has been forming among all those nations, which, like ours, want to be free and believe in the ideals of liberty.”
He named his band of allies as US President Donald Trump and his billionaire adviser Elon Musk; Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni; Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu; Hungary’s Viktor Orban; and El Salvadorean President Nayib Bukele.
“It is our moral duty and our historical responsibility to dismantle the ideological edifice of sickly wokeism,” he said.
“That is what we are doing in Argentina, and that is what I trust President Trump will do in the new America. And that is what we invite all the great nations of the free world to do.”
