After a few days under the leadership of President Donald Trump, millions of Americans are ready to relegate the Biden administration to the ash heap of history.
On Thursday morning, however, Google temporarily did even more than that. Reports indicate that searches for a list of U.S. presidents did not include Biden at all, instead presenting back-to-back Trump terms.
According to Forbes:
Google’s search results for “U.S. presidents” omitted former President Joe Biden from the list on Thursday morning according to user reports, joining a recent wave of criticisms aimed at giant tech companies and their management of political content across their platforms.
The search issue — which Newsweek reports was resolved around 4 a.m. ET — temporarily displayed President Donald Trump as having served consecutive terms, with Biden’s presidency absent from the chronological listing that included other presidents such as Barack Obama and George W. Bush.
While many leftist commenters were outraged by the supposed Big Tech slight, Biden’s critics had some fun at the ex-president’s expense:

Newsweek provided additional details about the apparent glitch:
The issue was noticed on the social media platforms, X and Bluesky.
The tone between the two sites was different, with Bluesky users outraged, and X users seeming rather gleeful about the omission.
One Bluesky user wrote: “Go to the search, expand the page, click on feedback.
“Tell Google you see and don’t appreciate their Orwellian revisionist history.”
An X user posted: “What’s going on ? Trump came up twice like Biden never existed at all. Why is this s*** funny.”
Google has not publicly commented on the issues at the time of reporting.
Some critics believe the omission was evidence of Google’s pro-Trump bias despite the fact that the search engine’s apparent anti-Trump bias has been widely denounced by conservatives for years:
