Within hours of President Trump’s inauguration, the White House’s Spanish-language website vanished.
Adios.
Users visiting the page got a 404 error and a “Go Home” button linking to Trump campaign videos.
The administration also shut down @LaCasaBlanca and the government’s abortion page.
No more glorifying child sacrifices in this country. I’m not settling for a golden 4 years, I want a golden era!
And remember, the Spanish White House page was first removed in 2017 under President Trump.
It was later reinstated by Biden in 2021.
The White House's Spanish website "La Casa Blanca," has been deleted.
The best part is the site telling them to “go home” 😂💀 pic.twitter.com/cIEUqX9nt6

Some say the above image was edited and that it originally said, ‘Go to Homepage’. Or perhaps it was a Biden IT guy that did it to make Trump look bad?
ABC News reports:
Within hours of President Donald Trump’s inauguration, the new administration took down the Spanish-language version of the official White House website.
The site — currently https://www.whitehouse.gov/es/ — now gives users an “Error 404” message. It also included a “Go Home” button that directed viewers to a page featuring a video montage of Trump in his first term and on the campaign trail. The button was later updated to read “Go To Home Page”.
The Spanish profile of the White House’ X, @LaCasaBlanca and the government page on reproductive freedom also were disbanded. Meanwhile, the Spanish versions of other government agencies such as the Department of Labor, Justice and Agriculture remained available for users on Tuesday.
Trump removed the Spanish version of the page in 2017. At that time, White House officials said they would reinstate it. President Joe Biden reinstated the page in 2021.
Hey robot, is speaking English part of getting citizenship in the U.S.A?
Yes, speaking English is generally part of the U.S. citizenship process. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to read, write, and speak basic English during the naturalization interview, which is required to become a U.S. citizen.
So, if we only cater to citizens in this country then they should all understand English, right?
Does this mean that soon we won’t have to “Press 1 for English” ?
Let’s hope so.
The clip below shows someone that doesn’t seem happy about it.
But as the comment below it asks, why was that page there in the first place?
1. Why the hell was there EVER a Spanish version of the White House website?
2. The "Go Home" button shouldn't be a button. It should just be a statement.— CDaddy (@theCPRussell) January 21, 2025
P.S. Does anyone else mess with AI just to watch it freak out?
