People that have money in their bank accounts were in attendance? How is this happening?!

It’s the worse thing to happen in all of America’s history! At least, that’s what Rachel Maddow would have us believe.

Fox News reports:

Rachel Maddow could not contain her dismay at the presence of wealthy entrepreneurs seated prominently at President Trump’s inauguration, asking, “how is this happening in America?”

Trump’s inauguration was attended by disparate guests, ranging from Argentinean President Javier Milei to musician Carrie Underwood, but it was the image of Apple CEO Tim Cook hobnobbing with Trump Homeland Security nominee Kristi Noem that sent the MSNBC host into a frenzy.

“Kristi Noem, the nominee for homeland security, next to Apple CEO Tim Cook. How is this happening in America?” Maddow lamented.

“How is this happening? Why are people with tons of money up on the dais with Cabinet nominees and family members?”

Trump’s relationship with Silicon Valley has undergone a total 180 in recent weeks, with once antagonistic tech titans now jockeying to get into the president’s good graces. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, also seated prominently at the inauguration, announced in January he is ending DEI policies on his various social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. Meta and Amazon each donated over $1 million to Trump’s inauguration.

In addition to Zuckerberg and Cook, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who will be chairing Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, were all given prime real estate at the inauguration.

AP News adds:

Some of the most exclusive seats at President Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday were reserved for powerful tech CEOs who also happen to be among the world’s richest men.

That’s a shift from tradition, especially for a president who has characterized himself as a champion of the working class. Seats so close to the president are usually reserved for the president’s family, past presidents and other honored guests.

Photos show the tech CEOs mingling with several of Trump’s picks for the Cabinet, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as health secretary and Marco Rubio as secretary of state.

In one image, Rubio looks on from the background, facing a lineup of tech’s wealthiest leaders. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, stand beside Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his fiancee, Lauren Sánchez, along with Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Elon Musk, one of Trump’s closest advisers. The world’s wealthiest person, Musk also runs Tesla, SpaceX and the social platform X.

Also at the Capitol for the day’s events were Apple CEO Tim Cook and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.

They’re trying so hard to link the word “billionaires” to “Nazis”, as if being a billionaire is the worst thing.

Mainly, they’re playing on people’s jealousy.

That’s how the Marxists work.

And yet, they’ve got plenty of billionaires on their side.
