BREAKING: Joe Biden Pardons Dr. Fauci And General Mark Milley

Early Monday morning, Joe Biden pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci and retired General Mark Milley in his final hours as president.

Biden also issued a pardon to members of the House J6 committee, which includes former lawmaker Liz Cheney.

In a press release, Biden shared, “The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense,” Biden said in a statement.”

He added, “Our nation owes these public servants a debt of gratitude for their tireless commitment to our country.”

Per Fox News:

President Biden pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley (Ret.), and others who some speculated may have faced investigations under the incoming Trump administration on Monday.

Biden’s pardons come just hours before he is set to depart the White House and President-elect Trump takes the oath of office once again. The pardon also applies to a litany of people involved in the January 6 select committee investigation.

In addition to the named individuals, the pardon applies to, “Members of Congress and staff who served on the Select Committee, and the U.S. Capitol and D.C. Metropolitan police officers who testified before the Select Committee.”

Former FBI Director Christopher Wray, Special Counsel Jack Smith, and Attorney General Merrick Garland are notably absent from Biden’s list of preemptive pardons.
