“CORRUPTION”: President Trump Demands FBI Preserve All DEI Office Records After Closure

After news broke of the FBI closing their DEI office ahead of President Trump’s return to the presidency, President Trump responded.

In a post on X, President Trump ordered the FBI to preserve all records related to the office.

“Why is it that they’re closing one day before the Inauguration of a new Administration?” he asked, “The reason is, CORRUPTION!”

Trump is suggesting that the FBI shutting down their DEI office is not out of good faith, but rather an attempt to cover up what they have been doing.

Fox News has more details on the FBI quietly shutting down their DEI department ahead of President Trump coming back in town:

The FBI has closed its DEI office, Fox News can confirm.

“In recent weeks, the FBI took steps to close the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), effective by December 2024,” the agency told Fox News Digital on Thursday.

Earlier this month, Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray claiming that “radical” DEI practices had “endangered” Americans following the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans.
