During a cybersecurity breach on the U.S. Treasury Department, it is now being reported that Janet Yellen’s computer was hacked by China.
The Chinese hackers reportedly accessed around 50 files on Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen’s computer.
They also broke into the computers of two of Yellen’s lieutenants, Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo and Acting Under Secretary Brad Smith.

Chinese hackers have infiltrated Yellen's computer.
The left was focused on Russia for so long that China seized the opportunity to infiltrate our nation.
By the way, this was intentional.pic.twitter.com/EqJi4onR5F

From Bloomberg:
US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s computer was infiltrated and unclassified files were accessed as part of a broader breach of the agency by Chinese state-sponsored hackers, according to two people familiar with the matter.
The attackers also hacked the computers of two of Yellen’s lieutenants, Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo and Acting Under Secretary Brad Smith, according to the people, who asked not to be identified discussing sensitive information. Fewer than 50 files on Yellen’s machine were accessed, one of the people said.
Reuters added:
The computers of two of Yellen’s lieutenants, Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo and Acting Under Secretary Brad Smith, were also breached, the report said.
The hackers accessed fewer than 50 files on Yellen’s machine, Bloomberg said.
The Treasury Department did not immediately respond to a Reuters’ request for a comment.
The hack, what the Treasury called a “major incident”, happened in December when Chinese state-sponsored hackers breached the department’s computer security guardrails by compromising third-party cybersecurity service provider BeyondTrust, according to Treasury officials.
No matter how you look at it, this is just ridiculous and unacceptable.
How can our cybersecurity be anything but impenetrable in something as important at the Treasury department?
The real question here is: was it the result of incompetence…or was it intentional?
Here’s what folks are saying on X:
She allowed them to infiltrate either by stupidity or on purpose. Similarly, I do not think it was an accident that Hillary had less security on her server than an AOL account and was hacked, probably, by China. All the while her server was exposed the Clinton’s took in foreign…

Sounds like a diversion tactic by her to cover up something… being so close to final days looks very suspicious…

Janet Yellen is the cute old grandma type. The type that gives you a candy out of her pocket and pinches your cheeks.
Not someone who we should have in charge of any position in government, let alone the treasury Sec.

Given that she’s a Biden appointee, I doubt they needed to “infiltrate” her computer. More likely she was mirroring the damn screen when she zoom called them.
