DIVORCE Rumblings Are Getting Louder As Michelle Obama Completely Vanishes From Public View

Rumors are swirling about possible trouble in paradise for the Obamas, and the rumblings are getting louder.

The buzz surrounding frequent lone public appearances by Barack is starting to get harder to ignore.

It is entirely plausible that the rumors could end up being true; Barrack and Michelle Obama may actually be on the verge of divorce.

That was the peak of the rumor mill back on the 9th, the day of Jimmy Carter’s funeral — which she skipped — leaving Barack to attend alone.

The speculation continued to grow.

And those Obama divorce rumors picked up more steam when it was revealed that Barack would also be attending President Trump’s inauguration alone — just as he did Jimmy Carter’s funeral.

Here’s the full text of that post for easier reading:

There are strong rumors circulating about a possible divorce between Michelle “Big Mike” Obama and Barack Obama.

Speculation is growing as Michelle has already missed Jimmy Carter’s funeral and will once again be skipping Donald Trump’s upcoming inauguration, which Barack will attend alone.

These high-profile absences have led many to speculate that both their marriage and political careers are about to end.

The official excuse for Michelle’s absence at Jimmy Carter’s funeral was a scheduling conflict.

And the official excuse for the upcoming inauguration is because she is simply to genuine and authentic to show up.

No, seriously — that’s the excuse.

The word from Michelle Obama’s people is that she “refuses to be fake” for the sake of protocol, according to the Daily Mail:

But according to a source who spoke to Page Six, Michelle has no such plans to smooth over her relationship with Trump – putting her at odds with her husband’s friendly efforts.

‘She’s never been fake and she’s never been phony. She’s always been very deliberate about where and how she shows up,’ the source said.

‘She showed up reluctantly for the election. They were united, but she doesn’t have to unify around [Trump]. She doesn’t have to say anything.

‘Her absence speaks volumes.’

Nevertheless, the rumors are reaching a fevered pitch to the point I expect that they will either be addressed as false, or confirmed, sooner rather than later.

The news that she would be skipping Jimmy Carter’s funeral was big, but the announcement that she wouldn’t be accompanying her husband to the upcoming inauguration made much larger waves.

And it should be noted that there have been entire years — a decade, in fact — that she admittedly “couldn’t stand” her husband, according to the online celebrity tabloid nickiswift.com:

Michelle Obama skipping Jimmy Carter’s funeral was big news, but her announcement that she won’t be in attendance during Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20 made even bigger waves. A statement released by Michelle and Barack Obama’s camp read (via CBS News), “Former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies. Former First Lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration.” There was no other explanation as to why the mom of two would not be present. When People shared the news on X, one user noted, “Rumors are circulating that she and [Barack] are no longer living together.” Another shared, “I’m guessing the Obamas are separated.”

Michelle opened up about the difficulties of her marriage in a discussion for Revolt in 2022. “People think I’m being catty by saying this. It’s like, there were 10 years where I couldn’t stand my husband, and guess when it happened? When those kids were little,” she stated. Michelle recalled feeling like her relationship with Barack was imbalanced as they struggled to juggle raising their two daughters while maintaining their careers.

The short statement released by the Obamas about their different plans for the inauguration certainly didn’t smooth over the controversy or rumors.

There was no definitive reason given in their statement for Michelle’s planned absence from the upcoming inauguration, according to a report by CBS News:

Former first lady Michelle Obama will not attend Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20, her office confirmed Tuesday.

A spokesperson did not immediately provide a reason for her absence.

Barack Obama, the 44th president, is expected at the swearing-in ceremony, according to a statement.

“Former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies. Former First Lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration,” the brief statement from the Office of Barack and Michelle Obama said.

Of course, there are those who believe that the narrative put out by the Obamas is truthful — that Michelle is simply refusing to attend in order to avoid President Trump, whom she has called racist (among other things).

One Obama aide specifically pointed to that reasoning, according to Fox News:

Another longtime aide speculated Obama was “saving some credibility” by avoiding Trump.

The former first lady repeatedly took jabs at Trump while on the campaign trail for Vice President Kamala Harris and during her speeches at the Democratic National Convention in August. In one speech at the DNC, she accused Trump of spreading “racist lies” and opposing her husband’s political career because of his race.

While she will not be in attendance, her husband, former President Barack Obama, is scheduled to attend the Jan. 20 inauguration event along with former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush and their spouses.

That is not an irrational or implausible excuse.

But considering the entirety of the circumstantial evidence, the impending divorce rumor is certainly not outside the realm of possibility.

Plenty of marriages have gone through far less stress and met a much sooner end.

At the moment there appears to be no concrete evidence of an impending divorce.

There is no record of documents filed, signed, or served.

But there are signs, not the least of which is Michelle’s continued absence from any public appearances alongside her husband, which has certainly raised more than one eyebrow about the possibility of an impending split.
