It’s no secret that the mainstream hosts of late-night TV talk shows are aligned with President Trump’s political foes.
After years of insults and mockery aimed at him and his family, Trump decided to share his unvarnished thoughts about one of the most aggressively critical hosts currently on the air.
As The Hill reported:
“I got stuck watching Marble Mouth Meyers the other night, the first time in months,” Trump said of the “Late Night” host, “and every time I watch this moron I feel an obligation to say how dumb and untalented he is, merely a slot filler for the Scum that runs Comcast.”
“These guys should be paying a lot of money for the right to give these ‘in kind’ contributions to the Radical Left Democrat Party. These are not shows or entertainment, they are simply political hits, 100 percent of the time, to me and the Republican Party,” the incoming president continued.
A spokesperson for Meyers didn’t return ITK’s request for comment.
Meyers has been one of several late-night hosts — including CBS’s Stephen Colbert and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel — who have skewered Trump on a regular basis on their shows.
Trump’s remarks fueled some similar criticism of Meyers and his fellow late-night hosts:
All of those Woke late night shows can’t make any money. I don’t know anyone who still watches them.

Seth Meyers ratings are falling as fast as Gavin Newsom’s approval ratings.

That's why they have no viewers, nobody believes or cares what he has to say.

The host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” also put his bias on display. During a monologue about the wildfires in Los Angeles, Kimmel found a way to point a finger at Trump.
According to Fox News:
Kimmel then took the opportunity to blast Trump’s response to the fires, stating, “I don’t want to get into all the vile and irresponsible and stupid things our alleged future president and his gaggle of scumbags chose to say during our darkest and most terrifying hour.”
“The fact that they chose to attack our firefighters, who apparently aren’t White enough to be out there risking their lives on our behalf, it’s disgusting but it’s not surprising. Instead, I want to focus on thanking those men and women,” says Kimmel.
Here’s some coverage of what Trump actually said about the L.A. wildfires:
