BREAKING: FDA Bans Popular Food Dye, Is This The RFK Jr Effect?

It’s official!

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has banned Red 3 (Erythrosine) from use in foods, and anything you ingest like medicine and supplements.

Curious timing for the FDA to ban this. Why now?

Could it have anything to do with RFK Jr coming into office in 5 days?

As for food manufacturers, they’ve got until January 2027 to comply.

But drug companies get an extra year to keep using this carcinogenic, their deadline being January 2028?

Wonder why they get extra time?

So keep an eye on your food labels for now. We’re not out of the woods yet, but this is a great start!

The domino effect this will have will continue to grow.

Fox News reports:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has officially banned red dye — called Red 3, or Erythrosine — from foods, dietary supplements and ingested medicines, as reported by The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Food manufacturers must remove the dye from their products by January 2027, while drug manufacturers will have until January 2028 to do so, the AP stated.

Any foods imported into the U.S. from other countries will also be subject to the new regulation.

“The FDA is taking action that will remove the authorization for the use of FD&C Red No. 3 in food and ingested drugs,” said Jim Jones, the FDA’s deputy commissioner for human foods, in a statement.

It’s time to go organic!

No unhealthy dyes in food that’s labelled “USDA Organic”.

It’s great to see the tables finally turning in the food industry.
