Princess Kate has announced she is in remission from cancer.

The Princess of Wales made the announcement on social media and wrote, “As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.”

She added, “My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.”

In September Kate announced she had completed chemotherapy.

The Princess of Wales has revealed she is in remission from cancer after making an emotional return to the hospital where she received treatment.

In a message posted on social media, Catherine spoke of her “relief” and said she remained “focused on recovery”.
“As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead,” the princess wrote in the post, which she signed off as “C”.

Earlier, on a visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in west London, Catherine thanked staff and empathised with cancer patients about the “tough” treatment but reassured them there was “light at the end of that tunnel”.

On Jan. 14, she visited the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and later announced she has become joint patron, with William, of the body that runs it.

In that role, Princess Kate said she is going to dedicate herself to helping others going through the same challenges as she and her family faced. “In my new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, my hope is, that by supporting groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family wellbeing, we might save many more lives, and transform the experience of all those impacted by cancer,” she wrote.
