Acclaimed Hollywood Author Accused of Disturbing Sexual Assault from Numerous Women

From the author of the comic series, Books of Magic, and the film Coraline comes a real life disturbing drama, starring himself.

Beloved fantasy author Neil Gaiman now faces accusations from eight women.

And let’s just say their accusations are quite dark indeed.

Allegations include misconduct spanning decades, with a former nanny claiming extremely inappropriate behavior.

Even the New York Magazine did an exposé on him called “There Is No Safe Word.”

HuffPost reports:

Award-winning fantasy author Neil Gaiman has been accused of sexual misconduct by eight women, one of whom claims she worked as a nanny for his children in 2022 when Gaiman allegedly initiated sex against her will with his 5-year-old son in the room.

The “Coraline” author faced similar allegations in July when five women recounted their experiences for a podcast series titled “Master.” New York Magazine reporter Lila Shapiro spoke to four of those women, as well as four others, for an article published Monday.

Shapiro noted that she combed through diary entries, text messages, emails and police correspondence to corroborate her exposé “There Is No Safe Word” — which suggests a pattern of coercion and manipulation over a period of decades.

Scarlett Pavlovich claimed she was 22 years old when she met Gaiman’s then-wife, singer-songwriter Amanda Palmer, in New Zealand in 2020. After inviting Pavlovich to various social events and befriending her, Palmer allegedly asked Pavloch to nanny her and Gaiman’s young son.

The story gets a bit graphic.

Also, this is a curious ironic twist. Harry Potter’s J.K. Rowling compares him to Harvey Weinstein.

Why is it ironic?

I’ll show you after this post.

Here’s an image from Gaiman’s creation from 1990. (Remember, Harry Potter didn’t come out until 1997)

Sure reminds me of something magical. Can’t put my wand on it….

On a side note, the origin story of Harry Potter is a fascinating rabbit hole I’m debating on if I should write.

Lots of twists and turns. Let’s just say I’m not entirely convinced Rowling wrote it all by herself. What is a ghost writer?

LiveMint adds:

Amid ongoing outrage over the British author Neil Gaiman, who is facing sexual assault allegations, author JK Rowling has highlighted the lack of response from the literary crowd compared to the Harvey Weinstein MeToo case.

Neil Gaiman, the author of The Sandman and Coraline, has been accused of assault, including of Scarlett Pavlovich, who used to babysit Neil Gaiman’s child.

“The literary crowd that had a hell of a lot to say about Harvey Weinstein before he was convicted has been strangely muted in its response to multiple accusations against Neil Gaiman from young women who’d never met, yet – as with Weinstein – tell remarkably similar stories,” said JK Rowling in a post on X.

Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk reacted to JK Rowling’s post and said, “Their silence is deafening.”

As for those online, they aren’t too surprised by this revelation about Gaiman.

Another one of Gaiman’s projects is The Sandman, recently turned into a Netflix tv show.

In his own words…

Curious that a ‘feminist’ turns out to allegedly be a predator.

As for those that got Neil Gaiman tattoos, yikes!
