Joe Biden is on his way out the door, but frankly, it feels like he’s been gone for quite awhile now.
That didn’t stop him from cracking a sadistic joke during a briefing at the White House over the wildfires currently rampaging in California.
At one point during the briefing, Biden told Kamala Harris, “Fire away! No pun intended!”
Even Kamala looked completely shocked.

Even as Kamala looked taken aback by Biden’s tone-deaf comment, he repeated it again, telling the Forest Service Chief to “fire away.”
Apparently, Biden thought it was hilarious enough to use it twice.
From The New York Post:
President Joe Biden repeatedly told speakers to “fire away!” during a White House briefing on the still raging Los Angeles wildfires before blaming local power companies for fire hydrants running dry — an allegation that was quickly rebuffed by both of the area’s electricity providers.
Biden, 82, shocked attendees with his choice of words on Thursday given the gravity of devastation caused by the dueling infernos and later applauded California Gov. Gavin Newsom who President-elect Donald Trump blamed for the hydrants running out of water.
“Madam vice president, I know you’re directly affected, so you fire away!” Biden told Vice President Kamala Harris, a California native, who shot a surprised look at the president as he sat next to her at the Roosevelt Room’s board table.
“No pun intended,” he added in response to Harris’ stunned expression.
Yet, moments later, Biden repeated the same eyebrow-raising directive, telling US Forest Service Chief Randy Moore, “Chief, why don’t you fire away?” as multiple fires continued to tear through 30,000 acres across Los Angeles, killing at least five people.
Joe Biden is being slammed on social media over his heartless ‘joke.’

Fox News reported on the backlash:
President Biden made what many considered a “disgusting” joke during his remarks on the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires Thursday.
Biden convened senior administrative officials to address the federal response to the Palisades Pacific wildfires that have continued to rage throughout the county, forcing the displacement of thousands of California citizens and destroying thousands of homes and buildings.
After briefing the public on the federal government’s plan to help local officials during the disaster, Biden gave the floor to Vice President Kamala Harris, who hails from California, and made a quick joke.
“Madam Vice President, I know you’re directly affected. So you fire away, no pun intended,” Biden said.
ADVERTISEMENTX users were quickly shocked by the comment and began blasting the president.
“WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS DUDE,” Redstate writer Bonchie exclaimed.
“Is the empathy in the room with you now?” Townhall.com video editor Kevin McMahon wrote.
Townhall.com columnist Derek Hunter wrote, “Most of the time, @JoeBiden is just a mean, vindictive person (has been his whole career), but in this case I think this can be blamed on his senility.”
The Spectator contributing editor Stephen Miller remarked, “Even Kamala at this point is like ‘You serious dude?’”
“Completely tone deaf,” Libs of TikTok wrote.
“What a jerk,” Conservative commentator Steve Guest said.
Conservative writer Ben Kew remarked, “Probably not the time to be making puns.”
There’s only one positive takeaway from all this: in roughly 10 days, it will be Joe Biden’s turn to be fired!
