WATCH: Nancy Pelosi Shuffles Around Congress Using a Walker

Long gone are the days of Nancy Pelosi prancing around in stilettos, it seems.

After breaking her hip after falling down the stairs during an overseas trip last month, Nancy Pelosi now must use a walker to get around.

Photos and videos of Nancy Pelosi shuffling around the House chamber in her walker are going viral online.

Here’s several:

We need term limits, like, yesterday.

The Daily Beast commented:

Nancy Pelosi returned to Congress with a walker on Monday after a hip replacement surgery. The congresswoman, 84, fell down a marble staircase during a trip to Luxembourg in December and underwent emergency hip replacement surgery.

During her first appearance in the House of Representatives on Friday, Pelosi ditched her signature four-inch stilettos for a pair of slip-on flats. Pelosi’s walker is a visible reminder of an aging Congress. This Congress is the third oldest since its inception, according to an analysis by NBC News.

Daily Mail added:

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is using a walker on her road to recovery after suffering a fall and undergoing hip replacement surgery last year.

The 84-year-old California Democrat was spotted on the floor of the House on Monday using the walker as she greeted fellow lawmakers.

Pelosi was joining members for a joint session of Congress to certify the results of the 2024 presidential election.

The former speaker could be seen sporting a green blazer and smiling as she made her way through the room and sed hello to senators visiting the chamber.

It was the second time Pelosi has been on the House floor since returning to Washington last week for the new 119th Congress.

Her ongoing recovering comes after she took a tumble during a bipartisan congressional trip to Europe last month.

On Friday, Pelosi received a warm welcome and applause from Democrats when she made her first appearance on the House floor since her surgery.

During that visit to the floor, Pelosi was helped by two aides who held her arms as she made her way through the chamber shaking hands and taking photos with lawmakers and their families.

Since her return to Washington, Pelosi has also been sporting flats rather than her preferred stilettos that she often wore before the fall and surgery.

The former speaker took the nasty spill on a marble staircase in Luxembourg and was rushed to hospital on Friday, December 13.

Her spokesperson revealed in a statement that weekend that she was then taken to Germany and underwent the successful hip replacement surgery.

Frankly, this is just sad, at this point.

I’ll say it time and time again: Congress is not a nursing home.

Treating it like one is not good for the patients or for our nation!
