President Trump Comments After Trudeau Resigns, 51st State Coming?

Earlier Monday, Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, announced his resignation.

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to comment on this.

He proposed that Canada should join the US as the 51st state.

Trudeau stepped down citing internal issues within his party, but President Trump argued that merging the two countries would benefit both countries.

It would eliminate tariffs.

It would lower taxes for Canadians.

And it would offer greater security from international threats.

That’s a great deal!

Maybe whoever takes Trudeau’s spot will agree to it.

Many people in Canada LOVE being the 51st State. The United States can no longer suffer the massive Trade Deficits and Subsidies that Canada needs to stay afloat. Justin Trudeau knew this, and resigned. If Canada merged with the U.S., there would be no Tariffs, taxes would go way down, and they would be TOTALLY SECURE from the threat of the Russian and Chinese Ships that are constantly surrounding them. Together, what a great Nation it would be!!!

US President-elect Donald Trump has suggested that Canada should formally become the 51st American state, after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stepped down from party leadership.

Trudeau resigned on Monday citing “internal battles” in the Liberal Party. He will remain a caretaker prime minister until the party elects a new leader, heading into a new parliamentary election due before the end of October.

Trudeau’s resignation appears to have been driven, at least in part, by Trump’s threat of a 25% tariff on goods crossing from both Canada and Mexico.

If Canada “merged” with the US, there would be no tariffs, Canadians would pay lower taxes, and both would be “totally secure” from “the threat of the Russian and Chinese Ships that are constantly surrounding them,” Trump (posted). “Together, what a great Nation it would be!!!”
