McDonald’s Announces it is Scaling Back DEI Efforts, Wokeness is Dying

Three days ago he let McDonald’s know he was going to do a report on them regarding their DEI policies.

And on Monday, they announces plans to change its diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.

It’s now renaming its diversity team to the Global Inclusion Team (not sure that’s a step in the right direction. Is it just DEI rebranding?)

McDonald’s joins other major corporations like Walmart and Toyota in revising DEI practices following public push back.

One by one, we’re taking this country back. And that includes Corporate America.

McDonald’s announced Monday it is ending some practices that are part of its broader mission to be inclusive, becoming the latest major corporation to scale back on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies that critics deem “woke.”

The fast-food giant is the first company to adjust its DEI policies in 2025. Last year, a slew of companies made similar changes, including Walmart, Ford Motor Co., John Deere, Lowe’s and Toyota, after activist pressure.

In an open letter to its franchisees, employees and suppliers, McDonald’s touted its achievements in its commitment to inclusion, one of its “core values,” and the company also said it wanted to “highlight a few important changes to our approach.”

The changes include McDonald’s scrapping its “aspirational representation goals,” getting rid of its DEI pledge for its suppliers, changing the name of its diversity team to the Global Inclusion Team and ending external surveys.

is ending a number of woke DEI policies today. Now let me tell you what’s changing and how it happened.

3 days ago I told McDonald’s that I’d be doing a story on woke policies there. Today they’ve announced the following changes:

• Hiring: They will END their diversity “goals” for how many of each race they hire. Many (myself included) have referred to these types of “goals” as quotas because these “goals” often operate as quotas that discriminate against white job applicants.

• They’ll no longer participate in the HRC’s woke Corporate Equality Index scoring system that forces the trans agenda into the workplace in exchange for a perfect score. They also won’t participate in other 3rd party surveys.

• Supplier diversity: They’re ENDING the DEI pledge for their supply chain. That means no diversity quotas or “goals” will exist for how they choose or prioritize suppliers. Focus will now be on merit.

• Their diversity team will be “evolving” this year into simply an “inclusion” team. I explain in the video how I feel about this.

Our campaigns are so effective that we’re getting the biggest companies on earth to change their policies without me even posting a story exposing their woke policies first. Companies can see that America wants sanity back. The era of wokeness is dying right in front of our eyes. The landscape of corporate America is quickly shifting to sanity and neutrality. We are the trend, not the anomaly anymore.
