British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned Elon Musk for spreading “lies and misinformation”, he says.
This comes after Tesla’s CEO calls out Starmer and the tyranny his country is under (mainly criticism of the U.K.’s Labour government.)
Musk has called for Starmer’s imprisonment and even proposed a U.S. “liberation” of Britain.
Which did quite well in the poll he posted.
Needless to say, Starmer doesn’t like Musk shining a spotlight on him and his actions.
Starmer seems itching to arrest someone about this, but what’s he going to do? Fly over here and arrest Musk?
This isn’t the UK. You can speak freely (sort of) online, unlike in England.
AP News reports:
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday condemned “lies and misinformation” that he said are undermining U.K. democracy, in response to a barrage of attacks on his government from Elon Musk.
The billionaire Tesla CEO has taken an intense and erratic interest in British politics since the center-left Labour Party was elected in July. Musk has used his social network, X, to call for a new election and demand Starmer be imprisoned. On Monday he posted an online poll for his 210 million followers on the proposition: “America should liberate the people of Britain from their tyrannical government.”
Asked about Musk’s comments during a question session at a hospital near London, Starmer criticized “those that are spreading lies and misinformation as far and as wide as possible,” particularly opposition Conservative politicians in Britain who have echoed some of Musk’s claims.
Musk often posts on X about the U.K., retweeting criticism of Starmer and the hashtag TwoTierKeir -– shorthand for an unsubstantiated claim that Britain has “two-tier policing” with far-right protesters treated more harshly than pro-Palestinian or Black Lives Matter demonstrators. During summer anti-immigrant violence across the U.K. he tweeted that “civil war is inevitable.”
Poor Starmer.
He’s not too happy about being called out.
According to the BBC, he may end his country’s security partnership with the USA. That is, if he stands by Musk’s views.
I think Starmer will also be unhappy with how that turns out.
According to BBC Newsnight, Britain's socialist government are considering ending their security partnership with the U.S. unless Donald Trump distances himself from Elon Musk's views on grooming gangs.pic.twitter.com/024Qbg1iaH

Can you sense the panic?
Their game isn’t going according to plans.
America should liberate the people of Britain from their tyrannical government

Yahoo News adds:
Throughout the past 48 hours alone, Musk has called for Starmer to be imprisoned and posted a poll to his X followers posing the question as to whether “America should liberate the people of Britain from their tyrannical government.”
While the British leader did not name Musk directly, he widely condemned what he said was the spread of false information.
They can feel their power slipping from their fingers.
And we’re watching it in real time.

And remember this little gem?
Yeah, the bobbies will be sent over here and arrest us?
Not likely.
The UK is under a totalitarian regime; it has fallen to tyranny under PM Keir Starmer.
One former Member of Parliament told me this morning that close to 1000 arrests have been made for sharing online posts in the last week.
The same MP advised me that even a stopover through… pic.twitter.com/IukLqfpXIs— Robert W Malone, MD (@RWMaloneMD) August 13, 2024
