Prince Williams Shocked Over Connection to New Orleans Tragedy

Prince William expressed sorrow after Ed Pettifer, 31, was killed in the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans.

Turns out that he was the stepson of his former nanny.

“Catherine and I have been shocked and saddened by the tragic death of Ed Pettifer,” William wrote.

Pettifer, a London resident, was visiting Louisiana when he became a victim of the attack, which has drawn international attention.

From London to New Orleans on the very spot where a terrorist would attack. What are the chances?

It’s very sad.

It’s also frustrating that these sort of attackers don’t ever seem to live long enough to face justice in courts.

HuffPost reports:

Prince William expressed his grief on Saturday after learning that Ed Pettifer, the stepson of his former nanny, was killed in the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans.

“Catherine and I have been shocked and saddened by the tragic death of Ed Pettifer,” the Prince of Wales wrote on social media. “Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Pettifer family and all those innocent people who have been tragically impacted by this horrific attack.”

Pettifer, 31, lived in London, and the city’s Metropolitan Police announced his death on Saturday. He was visiting Louisiana with a friend, The Sun reported.

Lots of questions around this attack.

First it wasn’t a terrorist attack:

Then we get an unusual tour of the attacker’s house, showing all his Muslim artifacts.

And now the stepson of one of Prince William’s nanny was killed there.

Its all very odd.
