Indie Filmmaker Jeffrey Baena, Husband of Aubrey Plaza, Found Dead at 47

Writer and indie director Jeffrey Baena, husband to actress Aubrey Plaza, passed away on January 3 at his Los Angeles home.

He was 47.

The films he made were gross and not for kids.

The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office and LAPD were the ones that confirmed his death.

But the medical examiner’s office is investigating.

Currently there’s no cause of death has been disclosed.

A full report will be released once the case is closed.

Allegedly it’s being reported a suicide.

But isn’t that a bit soon for the police to know if they don’t even know how he died?

Why is it if someone dies in Hollywood, the first reports are “It was suicide! No need to look for anyone else involved,” ?

Director and writer Jeffrey Baena, husband of Hollywood actor Aubrey Plaza, has died. He was 47.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed with Fox News Digital that their team responded to a call at a residence in the 2100 block of Fern Dell Place and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene on Friday.

Baena died on January 3 at his home, according to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office. The medical examiner’s office said in an email to The Associated Press on Saturday that Baena was pronounced dead at 10:39 a.m. in Los Angeles. A full report won’t be available until the case is closed, the office said.

The records indicated that the medical examiner’s office was investigating and did not include any information on where specifically his body was discovered or the cause of death.

A rep for Baena’s wife, Plaza, directed Fox News Digital to a statement given to Deadline.
