As of Thursday at 5:30 p.m., Davis said no arrests have been made in the incident. The APD chief said officers remained inside the mall investigating, and all exits were open to evacuate people from the mall.

“Officers responded not knowing who else was inside the mall. The mall itself went into its own lockdown procedures,” Davis said. “No one was shot or harmed.”

APD first responded to the incident as a shoot/stab hot shot call, and around 4:20 p.m., police said the incident was an “isolated incident.”
