WARNING: If You Want To Fly In 2025, You’ll Need a “Real ID”

Congress passed a law back in 2005 to change our identification card.

They called it the Real ID Act.

The original implementation date was supposed to be back 2008, back when the first Iron Man movie was out in theaters.

After all this time, Real ID Act takes effect in 2025 on May 7.

Standard driver’s licenses will no longer work for airport security or federal buildings.

People will need a Real ID instead.

Unless your an illegal immigrant, than you can just cruise pass security.

Then again, President Trump will be in charge when this occurs.

And if this Real ID isn’t a good idea, I’m sure Trump will cancel this requirement.

LA Times reports:

The federal Real ID Act will take effect May 7, meaning a standard state-issued driver’s license or identification card will no longer get people through airport security or into federal buildings.

Instead, they will need to get the enhanced driver’s license known as the Real ID.

Congress passed the Real ID Act in 2005 with the goal of creating a nationwide standard for identification because driver’s licenses in some states aren’t acceptable forms of identification to cross borders or board commercial aircraft.

The planned implementation date was originally announced for 2008 but has since been pushed back several times.

Nearly 18.4 million Californians out of a population of nearly 40 million already had a Real ID as of Dec. 5, according to recent data from the California Department of Motor Vehicles.

Here are the necessary documents (for California):

Proof of identity, including one original or certified document (such as a passport or birth certificate).

Legal name change documents are needed if the name on proof of identity differs from other documents.

Proof of residency, including two documents in paper form (such as a bank statement or a utility bill).

Social Security number.

The question we should ask those currently in charge is: does this apply to illegal immigrants?

Or will they still be able to just walk on flights without ID?

If they don’t have an arrest warrant, they can just show an app:

People are noticing the blatant discrimination.

Remember this sign?

Thank God this clown era is ending.
