“Ice Maiden” Orders Immediate Radio Silence To President Trump’s Nominees

President Donald Trump’s no-nonsense chief of staff, Susie Wiles “Ice Maiden”, issued a firm reminder for incoming nominees.

She wants them to keep their tweets and posts in check unless approved by the legal team.

In other words, “stop posting.”

Wiles reminded everyone they don’t speak for President Trump or the U.S. yet.

Is this a response to the recent debate on X over H-1B?

Whatever the case, we’re going to see more radio silence in the coming weeks.

Though I have a feeling posts from Elon Musk will be more than enough to keep us all entertained.

New York Post reports:

President-elect Donald Trump’s chief of staff Susie Wiles sent a message Sunday ordering nominees to refrain from any posting on social media as Senate confirmation hearings are scheduled to start next week.

“While this instruction has been delivered previously, I am reiterating that no member of the incoming administration or Transition speaks for the United States or the President-elect himself,” Wiles wrote in a memo obtained by The Post.

“Accordingly, all intended nominees should refrain from any public social media posts without prior approval of the incoming White House counsel,” she said in the Dec. 29 missive.

The first-ever female chief of staff, nicknamed the “Ice Maiden,” also noted that she appreciates “how enthusiastic everyone is” about joining the second Trump term in her otherwise frank directive.

“It was a reminder of the guidance to intended nominees as confirmation hearings get underway next week,” the transition source told The Post.

Some are wondering if this happened because of the H-1B debate from last week.

Several Trump nominees, including Pete Hegseth (defense secretary), Kash Patel (FBI director), Tulsi Gabbard (director of national intelligence) and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (head of the Department of Health and Human Services) have faced increased scrutiny in recent weeks, leading to them holding closed-door talks with senators on Capitol Hill in recent weeks — including some Democrats— to build support.

Trump’s nominees have abstained from posting on their public social media accounts since Christmas Day, according to the Post, showing Wiles’ directive is being followed.

The Senate confirmation process is expected to be less than smooth sailing for some of the 47th president’s nominees in the GOP-controlled upper chamber. Republicans can only afford to lose three votes from among their own if Democrats refuse to support the confirmation of a nominee.
