‘We Know Who’s Who’: Tom Homan Vows To Root Out ‘Bad Actors’ Trying To Thwart President Trump’s Agenda

President Donald Trump is headed back to the White House following last month’s landslide election victory, which was secured in part based on his promise to crack down on an immigration problem exacerbated by the Biden administration.

Former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan, chosen to be Trump’s border czar, has been an outspoken supporter of Trump’s agenda. He recently issued a statement calling out those who want to stymie the incoming administration, insisting that such “bad actors” will be identified and addressed appropriately.

As the Daily Wire reported:

“I would think they [would] learn a lesson from the election,” Homan said. “They’re pouting. They’re mad. They’re kicking and screaming. You know what? Do what you want to do. Try to prevent us. We’re going to get this done with or without them. It’s coming. … We’ll crash through the roadblocks. We’re not going to let these people shut this down. We’re going to get this done.”

As for whether he has concerns about bad actors within his future department that will be working against him to put a stop to his handling of the border crisis, Homan was straightforward and to the point.

“God help them,” he said, “because we’ll be looking for those bad actors. Look, we pretty much know where the bodies are buried. We know who’s who. The president of the United States is coming up with an agenda. If you don’t like the agenda, they get another job. If you don’t get another job, we’ll get you another job. But the president’s not going to put up with this stuff.”

Homan’s immigration remarks, made both before and after Trump picked him to be border czar, have long been common topics of social media discussion:

Homan has also outlined his plan for dealing with so-called sanctuary cities, as NewsNation reported:

“Sanctuary jurisdictions aren’t going to stop what we’re going to do,” Tom Homan said in a NewsNation interview Thursday. “If they don’t want to protect their communities, then the Trump administration will.”

Homan said immigration officers would focus on “public safety threats” and emphasized that sanctuary jurisdictions could face legal consequences if they actively interfere with federal enforcement efforts.

“They can stand by and watch us do it, but they cannot impede us,” Homan said. “They cannot knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal from ICE. Those are crimes.”

He warned that forcing immigration agents to make arrests in communities rather than jails would likely result in more “collateral arrests” of undocumented immigrants who are not primary targets.

Regarding sensitive locations such as churches and hospitals traditionally considered off-limits to immigration enforcement, Homan indicated the policy is under review. He said there are already exceptions for “significant public safety threats” or national security issues.

Here’s a clip of recent remarks he has made about plans for Trump’s second term:
