The home of Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic was burglarized Friday night.
“No one was home at the time, and thankfully Luka and his family are safe,” Lara Beth Seager, his business manager, told ESPN.
“Luka has filed a police report, and an investigation is ongoing,” Seager added.

Doncic is the latest high-profile athlete targeted in a string of robbery incidents.
Per ESPN:
The homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were broken into in October. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s Ohio home was broken into while he was playing in a Dec. 9 road game against the Dallas Cowboys. In the NBA, Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis had his home broken into Nov. 2, and Timberwolves guard Mike Conley’s home was burglarized Sept. 15 while he was at a Minnesota Vikings game.
Portis had offered a $40,000 reward for information.
ADVERTISEMENTThe NFL and NBA issued security alerts to players after the previous break-ins, urging them to take additional precautions to secure their homes.
In league memos previously obtained by The Associated Press, the NFL said homes of professional athletes across multiple sports have become “increasingly targeted for burglaries by organized and skilled groups.”

Daily Mail reports:
The FBI continues to investigate the case and Kelce, who was said to be ‘upset and angry’ at being robbed, responded by bolstering his home security amid an NFL warning that a South American crime gang could be behind multiple players being targeted.
Chiefs quarterback Mahomes spoke briefly about the incident in November, saying: ‘Obviously, it’s frustrating, disappointing.
‘I can’t get into too many of the details because the investigation is still ongoing, but obviously, it’s something that you don’t want to happen to really anybody but obviously yourself.
‘I can’t speak too much about the details of everything just with the investigation going on, but I’m sure at some point that will be talked about.’
