CNN Analyst Scott Jennings: “Joe Biden is a Failed, Disgraced President”

CNN’s Scott Jennings just dropped a truth bomb to the left, calling Joe Biden a “failed” president who is leaving office in disgrace.

In light of Joe Biden telling The New York Times that he does not regret debating President Trump, Scott Jennings called him out.

Jennings said that Biden’s refusal to express regret for the Americans killed during his botched Afghanistan withdrawal was a disgrace, as were other moments of his sham presidency, like pardoning his son Hunter.

Watch for yourself:

From Townhall:

As 2024 and the Biden-Harris administration are about to come to an end, Scott Jennings has been particularly busy on CNN. Jeff covered on Friday how Jennings had plenty to say about Vivek Ramaswamy’s take on Americans and the immigration debate, which he continues to talk about. He also recently offered a fitting assessment of how President Joe Biden will be remembered.

During Thursday night’s episode of “CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip,” a report from The New York Times on how Biden did not regret debating now President-elect Donald Trump on June 27 came up.

Just as Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) said on the show a moment before, Jennings was adamant that Biden “should have never run for reelection. He also answered with an “of course” as to Phillip’s point on whether or not Biden should have dropped out of the race sooner than he did, when he was finally forced out on July 21.

“When he got asked about regrets, the fact that he didn’t say, I regret that 13 American service members lost their lives in Afghanistan, to me, that he can’t muster the courage to say that now is a disgrace,” Jennings said, though he had plenty more to bring up beyond what was arguably one of the most shameful parts of this chaotic administration…

“This is a failed, disgraced president and he has never ever owned up to what happened in Afghanistan and the role that played in destroying those families’ lives and destroying his own presidency,” Jennings said to conclude such a point, once more bringing it back to Afghanistan.

That’s gotta be the best, most truthful thing I’ve ever heard on CNN!

For some context, Scott Jennings was addressing this report from The New York Times, in which Biden talked about the things he regrets:

President Biden has less than a month to go until his one-term presidency ends, and he is feeling reflective.

He is voicing regrets about his decision not to sign his name to Covid relief checks and about his longtime reputation — once considered a virtue — of being the poorest lawmaker in Congress. And now, with a planned visit to meet with Pope Francis at the Vatican next month, the president is signaling that he may have additional issues on his mind.

The visit, White House officials said as they issued a readout on Mr. Biden’s call with the pope last week, is officially to discuss world peace. But according to a person familiar with his plans for the trip, Mr. Biden is also going to the Holy See to seek solace and “relief” as he exits the world stage. Pope Francis, that person said, has become an ally and sounding board, trading occasional phone calls with Mr. Biden. Some of those conversations have been casual check-ins of the “Hey, how you doing?” variety.
