BREAKING: Bill Clinton Hospitalized

Bill Clinton was admitted to a hospital on Monday afternoon “for testing and observation after developing a fever.”

“President Clinton was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital this afternoon for testing and observation after developing a fever. He remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the excellent care he is receiving,” a Clinton spokesperson said.

Per NBC News:

A source close to Clinton, the 42nd president, said the situation is “not urgent.”

“The former president will be fine,” the source said. “He developed a fever and wanted to be checked out. He is awake and alert.”

Clinton has faced a number of health scares since he left office in 2001.

He underwent a quadruple bypass operation at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in 2004 and returned to the same hospital for another heart procedure in 2010, when two stents were inserted into a coronary artery.

From the New York Post:

The 42nd president, 78, also landed in a California hospital in 2021 after a urinary tract infection spread to his bloodstream.

He was released about a week after he checked in for treatment.

Ureña, told CNN on Monday that Clinton is “fine” and is hoping to be out of the hospital by Christmas.
