Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s scandal-plagued, far-left administration has contributed to the fact that he has some of the lowest approval numbers of any world leader.
President Biden has a 37% approval rating.Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has 26% approval, while France’s Emmanuel Macron sits at 19% and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at 18%, according to Morning Consult. But the lead singer of Five for Fighting, best known for the 2000 hit “Superman,” found something else to skewer Trudeau about.
As the Daily Wire reported:
“Five for Fighting” lead singer John Ondrasik dropped a hilarious new hockey song about Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and its gaining popularity.
“My musical submission to the Canadian House of Commons deliberating the fate of @JustinTrudeau @OurCommons,” the 59-year-old singer captioned his post on Monday on X.
It included a clip of his song with lyrics suggesting that the country would be better served if it picked a leader that had at least played ice hockey, which is the official national winter sport of Canada.
The full song is posted below, and it definitely deserves a listen. But first, let’s take a look at some of the other times Ondrasik has been politically outspoken, whether through music or not.
The Stolen Valor anger at Walz is real and not necessarily political. Many of my military pals who are disgusted w his behavior are not Trump fans. Honor, to some, matters. 🇺🇸 https://t.co/egL6NzxW0l

Israel overwhelmingly supported Trump for President, and yet he still easily won Dearborn Michigan, a massively Muslim district. Why? https://t.co/QzU5EzEzv3

Trump should tell the @USSecretService to stand down and hire Mossad. https://t.co/NX2m3tuXxd

Not sure how much RFK endorsement helps Trump, but in an election that will likely be settled by a couple hundred thousand votes in the swing states (like 2016,2020), it could be critical.

He has also released a number of poignant songs about issues America and the world have faced in recent years.
As the Times of Israel reported earlier this year:
In the weeks following Hamas’s October 7 massacre in Israel, John Ondrasik – better known by his stage name, Five for Fighting – felt a need to speak out.
So he did so in the best way he knew how to – via music.
The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter released his latest song, “OK,” last week, with lyrics denouncing those who refused to stand with Israel in the wake of the terror group’s devastating onslaught. The title may be “OK,” but the lyrics make it very clear: “We are not OK.”
“After the horrifying Hamas atrocities, I was disgusted with the moral relativism and clear antisemitism being displayed around the world in so many of our institutions, particularly the media, elite academia, the UN, and tragically in the US House of Representatives,” Ondrasik told The Times of Israel via email.
ADVERTISEMENTOndrasik, who is not Jewish, said that his latest song “is a moral message, not a political one.”
And here’s his musical jab at Justin Trudeau to leave a smile on your face:
