The flurry of reported drone activity on the east coast centered around New Jersey is spreading — even as federal authorities continue to gaslight the American public over the continuing occurrences.
Multiple U.S. states, as well as dozens of U.S. military bases across the globe, are reporting an uptick in what is widely being considered drones, though various aerial phenomena are allegedly being seen.
Just a few nights ago an increased number of drones were sighted in Orange County, New York forcing the closure of the airport after pilots and the FAA reported drones in the area.
Check out this video report from Channel 7 News out of New York.
Officials at the Stewart International Airport, 60 miles north of NYC, shut down runways after the FAA alerted them to the presence of drones.
Along with the FAA warning, at least one pilot reported visual sighting of a drone in the area to air traffic controllers according to a report by Channel 7 News, the previously mentioned ABC Affiliate out of New York:
Officials at Stewart International Airport, located roughly 60 miles north of New York City, said they shut down their runways for an hour after the Federal Aviation Administration alerted them that a drone was spotted in the area around 9:30 p.m.
ADVERTISEMENTAir traffic control recordings from the airport during that time include a pilot reporting drone sightings in the area.
The FAA said it “slowed traffic” at the airport because of the reported drone sightings near and over the airport. The agency added that no aircraft were impacted. The airport temporarily closed its runways, but no flight operations were impacted during the closure.
Just the day before, officials said there were “multiple” instances of drones spotted entering the airspace at a Navy weapons station.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul has responded to the incident with anger at the Federal government’s inability or unwillingness to handle the threat.
Hochul stated on Saturday that things had “gone too far”.
In response to my calls for additional resources, our federal partners are sending a drone detection system to New York.
I am grateful for the support, but we need more. Congress must pass a law that will give us the power to deal directly with the drones.

Gov. Hochul also pushed for the passage of a specific piece of legislation designed to provide expanded abilities for authorities to address threats posed by drones.

Besides urging the NY state police to coordinate with federal authorities, she called on Congress to pass the Counter-UAS Authority Security, Safety, and Reauthorization Act, according to a report in the New York Post.
The mysterious drones that have been plaguing the skies over the Northeast shut down the runways of Stewart International Airport Friday night, prompting Gov. Hochul to demand the feds step in.
ADVERTISEMENT“This has gone too far,” Hochul said in a terse statement Saturday, in which she noted the runway of the Orange County facility was shut down for an hour because of the unidentified aircraft.
Stewart Airport services both commercial and military flights and is adjacent to a New York Air National Guard base, where the 105th Airlift Wing is stationed.
“In order to allow state law enforcement to work on this issue, I am now calling on Congress to pass the Counter-UAS Authority Security, Safety, and Reauthorization Act, first introduced back in June by Rep. Mark Green (R-TN).
“This bill would reform legal authorities to counter-UAS and strengthen the FAA’s oversight of drones, and would extend counter-UAS activities to select state and local law enforcement agencies,” she wrote in her statement. Counter-UAS stands for “counter unmanned aircraft system.”
Drone sightings have also been reported across the five boroughs as well as on Long Island.
Most of the sightings have occurred in New Jersey, where scores of drones have been spotted by Coast Guard sailors and local cops.
Meanwhile, the gaslighting by the Federal government continues.
The gaslighting almost seems to have ratchet up a few notches, even while the visual sightings have increased and spread out, including sightings by military and local law enforcement.
Check out this video of the ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Rep. Jim Himes (democrat) on Fox News Sunday.
Himes basically gives a repeat performance mimicking the combative gaslighting session we previously received at the hands of John Kirby, one of the top Intel Communications leaders in Biden’s White House.

I feel like Shannon Bream, the Fox Host in the video above, sensed the concealment tactics in Himes’ antagonistic language — watch that video again, and focus on Bream’s face.
She seemed aware that Himes was hiding something, or at the least was far more focused on misdirection than… disclosure. (See what I did right there?)
Chuck Schumer, of course, is taking the opportunity created by the airport closures to push for additional funding (who could have seen that coming…) in the name of safety.
Schumer also requested that DHS sends drone detection systems to New York and New Jersey as a result of the airport closings, according to a report by NBC News:
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., has requested that a drone detection system be sent to New York and New Jersey after a series of mysterious drones disrupted the skies in recent weeks, even prompting a temporary shutdown at an airport over the weekend.
Schumer made the request to the Department of Homeland Security on Sunday, two days after New York Stewart International Airport closed due to multiple drone sightings in its vicinity. He pushed for the Robin Radar Systems for its “360-degree technology,” which has a better chance of detecting the drones compared to linear systems.
Schumer told reporters that it’s “remarkable” that despite the volume of sightings, “we have more questions than answers.”
Apparently, Dulles International Airport just outside of Washington DC experienced drone sightings at the same time as the New York airport.
Watch this ABC News Live clip with National Security “expert” Mick Mulroy discussing the drones over the airports, including the sightings at Dulles International.
A New York airport had to temporarily shut down its runways after a drone sighting in the area.

What a breath of fresh air to hear an “expert” like Mick Mulroy reasonably call for the Federal Government to come clean with what they know, and stop making baseless illogical assessments!
At the time of writing, renewed reports of drones are starting to come in as the sun sets over the east coast of the United States.
The nightly arrival of these drones — whatever they are, and whosever they are — have become almost an expected nightly “normal” of sorts in many places.
This is obviously part of a continuing story, and we will bring you updates as more information becomes available.
